Fishing a small lowland res.

water temp was hanging around 55-60* and fish we starting to move up but none on beds yet.

but this cold front will likely knock it down to 50*. water is stained pretty good. but wouldn't call it muddy.

I would include a good hard suspending jerk.

Aside from throwing a fit, I agree with above on throwing a jig.

I would throw a spinnerbait, bladed jig, lipless bait, or a jig and craw.

Ned rig, chatterbait, rattletrap, and maybe a spinnerbait.  

Sallow lowland in the spring probably means stained to muddy water . I love these places  First choice may be a spinnerbait . I like to kill the lure around cover during these conditions .  I have some short arms with weed guards that work real well . Its about the only time that I like to add a trailer , even a pork frog . Jig and pig would be rigged up and ready to go  too .

I would start with either a lipless or spinnerbait/chatterbait. Then I would break it down flipping a kinky beaver or jig. If all fails a shaky head or drop shot

Jig, jig and a jig. If that don't work throw a jig.
