lawnmower for first mowing

lawn chairs

suntan lotion

short pants

shorter t shirts than used in winter

garden hoses

fish table hoses

fish fillet knives

grill and gas bottles

doofey cover the ears hats

 screens for the house doors

humming bird feeders

salt water tackle

throw nets to get bait

sand flea rakes

 

 

in addition to clean out the winter clothes from the truck

turn on the outside water hoses

plant some roses

pull weeds

buy seeds

+ intermittently drink beer

Geeze I`m worn out

ps,i didn`t get all that done except for the beer

 

I did quite a bit of this last weekend - then it snowed ~ #premature.

btw - you said 'doofey' - haven't heard that one in a while.

I like it.  Describes me perfectly.

The National Weather Service in Gaylord has issued a WINTER STORM
WATCH, which is in effect from late Wednesday night through
Thursday evening.

* TIMING...Rain will change to a wet snow late Wednesday night,
with the snow continuing through the day on Thursday. The snow
will taper off from northwest to southeast late Thursday evening.

* MAIN IMPACT...Heavy, wet snow is expected to accumulate across
northeast Lower Michigan with the potential for 6 to 8 inches
along and southeast of a line from Cadillac to Alpena. Locally
higher amounts will be possible. Lesser amounts are expected
closer to Lake Michigan as well as Saginaw Bay. Travel will
become hazardous due to snow covered and slippery roads.

* OTHER IMPACTS...Strong northerly winds will develop on Thursday,
gusting up to 45 mph at times. Areas of blowing snow will lead
to reduced visibilities for motorists. In addition, these strong winds
combined with heavy, wet snowfall may lead to tree damage and
scattered power outages.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow...sleet...or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
Potential for A-Jay Inebriation is considerably high.

Look at it this way:

 

It gives you more time to organize your tackle that you've been organizing since January 

Go over your check list on your boat for the 5th time 

And read up on the 360 imaging manual for the 3rd time

The past 3 or 4 days have been break out days 

down here in VA, too!

 

For the trees, that is. Pollen is breaking out in 

waves. Wind driven pollen is a sight to behold.

Yellow caked cars are a pain to clean.

 

Sigh...it is tough to be south of the Mason Dixon

line....

Lol I thought the same thing at first. I think he was referring to the pants that unzip at the knees and become shorts.

I broke out my summer wear.  Somehow all of my shorts shrunk over the winter.

Cargo type shorts is all I will wear. Can`t stand the others with the tissue paper thin pockets.Keys ,pocket knives,phone and tools go right thru them.

No pollen blanket here yet,but soon. Bird wars will begin soon too. They build nests everywhere I don`t want them to.On top of my car engine,inside the truck frame and inside my boat trailer frames too.Over the front door. My neighbors have the same problem. To confined to shoot them. We`re considering hiring a falcon service.

Last year my neighbor had them under the hood of his truck.He proudly showed me how he defeated them by stuffing swim noodles between the frame and body.I asked if he was sure.He lifted the hood to see a full blown nest with 3 eggs in it .lmao

Tomorrows forecast is snow and 50mph winds. Sundays forecast is 70 and 50mph winds. Can't win for nothing

Today is the first day I've worn a short sleeve shirt at work since last October. I scraped the ice off the windshield yesterday morning. 

At 5:00 today it was 84 in Idabel, OK(SE), 60 and hailing and raining in Wellston, OK(Central) and 32 and a snowstorm in Woodward, OK(NW)

that's to dang much for one day !!!! toss everything that doesn't have the word fish attached to it. "well every one has to hydrate" then you say honey I lost the honey do list, I think its down by the lake!!

It's been easing its way in for awhile now here.  

 

Finally had to mow last weekend,  grass was a foot high in some places. Now I'm drinking coffee looking out at the yard, and it needs it again. ...
