NFL: Five At The Very Bottom Of The Barrel

Hmmm. Not sure I'd put the Bills at the "very bottom",

but they do have work to do. McDermott is, so far, making

some moves that are smart, conservative, and much much

better than Rex Ryan's circus moves.

Guess we'll see. Another report I read this week has the Bills

challenging the Phins for 2nd place and playoffs.

All speculation...can't wait for the season to start. Dead time

of year for major sports.

No kidding! I've stopped reading Buffalo Rumblings as much

these days, LOL. Things are different under McD. Discipline,

and I doubt we'll see dysfunctions like we have over the past

17 seasons under his leadership.

Thankfully I fish so I can avoid stuff like this till September. Its a smidge to early to start calling anybody at the bottom or top of the standings.

You got that right.. I wish Ralph sold the team years before he passed... We could of avoided the decade of fail and Russ Brandon running the team..

This talk of football reminds me of fall coming (my favorite time of year).  Ohhhhhhh......kids back to school...less people on the water......bring it.

Nice to see the 9ers made the list, as the organization is in the midst of their own "Process"...

I'm hoping for a good season!  Go Niners!

Man, I'm READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!

However, it's a tough road when "your team" is not going to be in the hunt.

My team is Denver with a new coach and without a quarterback.

Another year added to the Jets championship drought.

2 articles in our local paper made me laugh as I tend to do at my favorite team.

One was "Jets championship drought is old enough to apply for AARP" So true as Superbowl 3 was the last time they won it.

Second was "Current Jets team can still win 8 games" My prediction is that's what they will do and mess up any chance at picking first in the draft.

I have you beat. In the Super Bowl era Tom Brady has more Super Bowl losses than the Lions have playoff wins! I'm from Michigan but I'm a Bills fan from the Jim Kelly, Don Bebe, Thurman Thomas days. There's been talk of the Lions making Stafford the highest played player in the NFL and he's hasn't done squat for them.

Where are my beloved Chicago Bears? Surely they are in the potential bottom 5 for next season!
