  • Hey it floats!  Almost a week and I finally got it out on the water.  I'm following the break-in instructions for the engine, so I couldn't open it up.  I got the first hour out of the way.  I went to

Got my boat today!  Already about to get it opened up to install some gear.  Everything is really accessible and there should be no issues at all.  My dealer gave two tracker shirts to us... Almost ga

Love this boats look.  Really digging the throwback.  I want to get into fishing more and this is probably all I would need.  The only one for sale near me is actually more than they were brand new.....but it does say it’s only been ran for 5 hours.

I've had the heritage for a year now and still absolutely love it.  The throwback look is a definite drawing card.   I don't think you could go wrong with the heritage or the classic.

What’s the difference between the two exactly?  Other than color and a year or two.

If I go now I’m either going with someone or taking my dads early 2000s ProCraft out.  It’s a fine boat and all, but they are 1.5 hours away so it’s not really convenient to even go once a month, much less every weekend

In short, the heritage was made by Bass Tracker in 2018 to celebrate their 40th anniversary.  Orders for this boat stopped on March 16 2018 due to so many orders coming in that it took the remainder of the year to fulfill those orders.  Due to this success Bass Tracker in 2019 began making the Classic.  The heritage has Chocolate brown carpet the classic has gray.  Both have 40 hp motors but the classic can be upgraded to a 50 hp.  Maybe others can chime in with other differences or correct me if I've gotten something wrong.

Thanks for the response!  That was all I could see being different as well.  The classic looks like you also have to purchase a cover whereas the Heritage I believe came with one.

The Classic also comes painted, I think the choices are red and black

Has anyone replaced their cleats yet?Thinking about replacing mine with folding ones.Have one installed midship and I really like it.I have always been careful but the other day I set my rod on the bow to land my dads fish then went to grab it and get on trolling motor quick and snapped it about 6 inches above reel seat.An excuse to get a new rod I guess.

Not yet, but I have thought about it...

Has anyone done a deck extension yet?, if so I would love to see some pics. I need to do this but just not sure how to do it and keep the factory look.

there are some guys on the facebook group that has done it.  Some look really nice.  I want to it, but I have been doing other projects.  I will probable do it in the fall/winter.

Another upgrade inspired by Jaime. After fishing late on the delta and almost having a boat run into us I thought it was time for some lights. I tied the wiring into the original wiring in the light poles and put individual switches on each light so I can run just navigation lights or turn on extra lighting if needed. Here are photos of the front lights.

Nice job!  You got the anchor light too!  I like the mounts you used.  I was fishing the other night and a couple of guys asked me about my light and wanted to buy it that night, lol. I also used mine in the delta memorial day.

I move around open water with my navigation system, but when I get to areas with conditions I need to see or when I am fishing, the lights have made a huge difference.

Did you use spot or flood lights?  I will making an upgraded one soon.

I used floods. They are off of Amazon, I believe the brand is Nighlight the mounts are the same brand they are their mini mounts. The reviews weren’t bad on they just say you need to seal them. I took them apart and sealed them but they appear to be sealed pretty good.

Very helpful website I thought you might find handy, just enter your boats serial # and you can look-up every part that was used to build your boat with pricing. You wont have access to actually add to cart, just find part # and price, then call dealer to order. I have used this to order parts for my Heritage and it is awesome.

Very nice.  We don't have Chinook here. Maybe I'll get a chance to catch one some day.  I'm heading out in about ten minutes to do some bass fishing in the Altamaha River.  Maybe I'll have the same heritage luck as you.

A neighbor was cleaning out a house and came across this catalog. My original was a Tracker I

I have purchased many of that brands lights.  Only one had a sealing issue.  I used them on many projects

Good to know. Hopefully, I will have the same experience.

I was fishing a small lake today with my daughter.  At the ramp I saw another man with a heritage and struck up a conversation with him.  Turns out he purchased his last year about the same time as me.  This was the first time I've seen another heritage in the same lake I've fished.  It was a rare sighting.  We had a great conversation, almost like we were in an exclusive club.  My daughter who is now now 9 caught the most and the biggest fish.  It was a great day.

Saw a classic yesterday. Ive seen several Heritage/ Classics around this lake.

I have seen a couple heritages leave the lake as I was going in.  I saw a guy with a classic when they first came out.  I went over at talked to him on the water.  The dealer gave him their showroom model, so he didn't even wait.

I agree, it is like we are in a cool club with this boat. We all know what it is not, but we also know what we have.  We have a boat that first sold out and then has spawned more people to just get this model boat and go fishing.  A glass boat would be nice for the wind, but I love this boat.  It is just right for me.
