How Many States?

Featured Replies

I think i hit my new high number of states fished this last year, only one time was a tournament it was one of my 2 Alabama licenses.  Wondering how it was for everyone else in 2017, how many states (or countries even for that matter) did you fish in?

I also probably bought a new record number of fishing licenses in 2017 too!  I'd hate to know what that $ total per fish actually was!!!  Still cheaper than being caught without one though!!!!

  1. North Carolina - have a lifetime license there
  2. Georgia - resident license, have to buy the trout stamp too to fish certain parts of the river
  3. Alabama - actually bought 2 short term non resident licenses here in 2017!
  4. Tennessee - short term non resident
  5. Florida - again, bought the short term non resident license TWICE in 2017!
  6. Louisiana - short term non resident

Just Ohio and Michigan for me

Never fished outside the state.

Only fished in the Cornhusker State last year — will likely be the same again this year.

In 2017...KY & FL...and dangerously close to TN on Barkley/Cumberland River one day.

NC, TN, SC, and Ohio!

Non of them!

Just the best bassin place in the north, Ontario. ??

Although one of these days I’m gonna hit the warm south when it’s super crappy up here ( mostly dec. to apr. ).

Florida ! ?

I've only fished in 3 other states in my life. Georgia and the Carolinas.

IL, IN, MI, WI, MN and MO. I only held full year licenses for IL and WI, But I'm considering getting one for IN this year as well.

It's different every year. For 2017, it was WA, OR, CA, AZ, AL, and TX.

I traveled and fished all those states, plus traveled to, but didn't fish LA, FL, GA, and NY.

KS and MO was it for me, and I only fished in Missouri 2 or 3 times, the rest were all in KS.

Louisiana, Mississippi, Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Florida and Maryland.

UK, Holland, France, Canada and USA last year. Canada and the US were the only places I caught anything worth remembering though!

VA, FL, MI, DC, Canada and some years the Walpole Indian reservation (need special license).

Just in MO and IL last year.

Just indiana for me. And only fished 1 time where I actually needed a license. Fish private water most of the time. Plan to change that this year.

Louisiana and Colorado.   Stream fished in Colorado. Mostly Tidal bass fishing in Louisiana, and the one trip to the 289k acre paradise known as Toledo Bend.

This year I'm planning a trip to Lake Gunthersville and I may even try Rayburn if I can squeeze it in.

DE (resident) MD (non resident non-tidal/bay&coastal), and VA (non resident one day)

looks like I'm doing the same states this year, but because of our lake Anna trip in April VA will be the 7 day license.
