Rage Tail Craw

Featured Replies

I recently purchased my first pack of rage tail craws after hearing about them for a while. I have traditionally fished mostly worms, senkos, and tubes exclusively, but I must say, the rage tail craws are awesome. The craw may be my new go to bait as I seem to be getting more strikes on them than anything lately. Does anyone else fish the craws with success?

Certainly one of the most productive soft plastic on the planet.

I would also STRONGLY recommend the Baby Craw.

Watermelon Red Rage Craw is probably one of my go-to's. Very productive bait

I've had good luck with the Zoom Ultra Vibe Speed Craw. I am starting to like the Berkley Crazy Legs Chigger Craw. I had good luck with these when I used them.

They are a total waste of time!

They do work great.  The only issue I have with them is they tend to lose claws rather easily when the fish shake their head.  Not very durable but that is part of what you get with the action they have.

I just bought a pack. They have great action, but every time I set the hook, both claws immediately come off. I haven't had one last me for more than 45 minutes of fishing yet. ;)

The Rage Craw is my favorite and most used bait of all time, yes, they´re not very resistant, you will go thru a bunch of them but i don´t care... love the thing!

EDIT- Don´t tell anyone but the Falcon Lake Craw color is a killer!!!

I look at it this way ?

You can have fish in your livewell or lures in your tackle box!

Ya can't have both!

If one Craw catches one bass it's done it's job any more than that is lagniappe!

I love the Rage Lobster on a jig.  Always have one tied on.

I wouldn't really expect it to last for more than one fish, but a lot of times I feel a tick from a branch or something and set the hook to be sure it's not a fish and they come off. I've lost 5 so far and haven't caught one on them.

No doubt the best craw. My favorite rage tail bait has to be the twin tail menace though!

I gotta say I've found the catch co saw craws to be pretty much the same thing but a little tougher. I use the two interchangeably depending on which I can get cheaper when I'm shopping ?

I still fish these but I'm going to be using Yum Christie Craws once all my RT Craws are gone.  They have similar action and are more durable, although Yum doesn't have the good colors like PBJ or Falcon.  Both catch fish.

Never, ever use the black/blue flake rage craw.

My absolute favorite!

Idk what strike king does to their baits but, dang they work. I’ve tried KOs that looked nearly identical and they just don’t produce like the SKs.

Also, I have the same luck with just one claw remaining.

They’re my favorite jig trailer

Love Rage Craws. I didn’t think they could get better until I started Neko Rigging them.

As much as I like the craws, I like the Menace even more!

^ I agree I like the rage craw but I seem to have been using the menace more often.

I love the Rage Craws!  My three biggest fish of the year have come on Watermelon Red Flake.  All on a jig.

I also haven't had the problem some here are having with durability. I often catch several fish on the same one. I love the Watermelon Red Flake so much I just bought six packs to make sure I don't come close to running out.
