The AFC Championship goes through Arrowhead next Sunday.

The Chiefs came to play today.

Still in shock, over how well the defense shut down the Colts offense.

hopefully they can do the same thing next Sunday.

Chiefs don't have a ton to be happy about.  Sure the score was great but Mahommes didn't play great and the offense was stagnant in the second half.  Now the revitalization of the defense is something to build on if they can keep it up next week against whoever they face.

First home playoff win in 25 years,  is something to be happy about. :vrolijk_26:

Maybe next week AFC champions.

I get that part but being complacent won't work....gotta stay angry.  Next week will either be a Pats team that we all know cheats and does whatever it takes to win or a division rival which is never an easy thing to handle late in the postseason.

If that defense continues to play like they did today, they will have no trouble with either team next week.  If i was a chiefs fan, i would want the patriots myself

You guys spanked us bad. But one has to admit we turned a wasted season into something to be proud of. Moon and stars were just in the wrong place. When does Vinatierri miss a FG like that?

Hmm...

The last time the Chiefs played in the Super Bowl was when I was a senior in high school.

Now I'm just "a senior".

if winning one round of the playoffs makes you happy then so be it.  Me personally i would want more than that and they won without a doubt but there were a lot of areas to improve on.

The walrus will get it done and I could see the chiefs in the Super Bowl this year

That was a completely unexpected game. A lot of us thought the Colts were going to run over our defense.

Just hoping they can keep the momentum going.

I was really expecting an offensive shootout similar but not to the same degree as the Rams game, which gave me hope. Was not at all expecting to shut the Colts down!

Never happened in my whole life. It’s just a myth to me.

DARN RIGHT it makes me happy to see my team win!

The only thing they have to improve is that which will make their score higher than the other team in the next game!

Importantly, unlike many games early in the season, this game wasn’t won primarily by big trick plays and big failures of the opponent. To me, that is a huge improvement.

Let's be realistic here.  Is there anyone that is not currently a Patriots fan hoping they beat KC?  I have to imagine virtually every single football person outside of the Pats fan base out there is cheering for the Chiefs next Sunday.

I have no dog in the fight and I’m pulling for KC. Unless they end up playing philly! My brother lives 2 miles from the eagles stadium

Been that way for a while.

Interestingly enough, it doesn't seem to affect the outcome, one way or the other.

Looking forward to next weeks AFC Championship Game

KC's looks like the clear favorite.

Either way, this has been fun . . .
