"Love Affair"

I caught more fish on top water this year, than I have the last 2-3 years combined.

I now have a love affair with the Whopper Plopper.

Our whole fishing experience ( skills or not) can best be described by the movie title THE BEST YEARS OF OUR LIVES.

          Need I say more.

This year it has been "The Longest Day".

"Runner Up"

I hold the worlds' record for 2nd place finishes in local tournaments the last 10+ years.

162 tournaments under my belt.

14 wins.

49 2nd place finishes !!!!

Another 15 money finishes, be it 3rd, 4th, lunker or something.

I rarely get beat by the same person twice, and more times than not, it has taken the person (or team) that's beaten me the day of their lives. Rarely do I get blown out either, it's usually a squeaker.

Oddly...most of my wins have been either in grinds when no one else caught much, or in total blowout fashion where 2nd wasn't even close.

The Money Pit.  Spent a ton but it's been worth every cent. love bass fishn!

The Great Escape

Last time I went out the water temp was in the 40s and the water was like sludge from all the rain and flooding.  Got skunked.  But the campgrounds were closed, the docks were pulled up, not a soul around.  I floated in a cove and ate my lunch and saw two red foxes on a peninsula not 25 yards from me.  It's peace I'm fishing for.

(that's me adapting & overcoming)

For real probably "Back To The Future" because I was out of the sport for so long; but I really wanted to say "Bourne Supremecy" but that title is reserved for KVD

Walking With Dinosaurs

I bank fish. With alligators all around me.

Of course, one slip or if I don't pay attention to my surroundings my movie changes to "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner".

What kind of movie is that lol.

Definitely "I Walk Alone" (1947 Kirk Douglas, Burt Lancaster)

90% bank fisherman / wading fisherman

....and most of the time I'm gloriously alone :)
