Am I the only one that when you find a pistachio with no opening you think "That must be the best pistachio meat inside that pistachio. Far better than all the easy to open pistachios. Yes, that pistachio meat must taste like heaven." and then proceed to spend 3 hours, $210 in tools and a pint of your own blood opening said pistachio? Let us discuss this.  

I have never eaten a pistachio, the scream they make when you open their shell bothers me.

I save all those for the end, and give the bag to my wife.

Might I suggest investing in a Sawzall and a small vice. It may save you a trip to the dentist or worse, that guy at the flea market that pretends to be a dentist but is actually a sadist. 

Or how about when you get the stubborn shell open and are so excited to pop that tasty little seed in your mouth, you bite down.....................and it tastes like a frickin dirt clod?    Same with some cheap sunflower seeds.  

From slippers to pistachios. What will it be in Jan-Feb, toenail fungus and ingrown hairs? ?

I do love my slipper BTW. They are a must in Michigan during this time of the year.

The good thing about the pistachios in the shell is, the act of taking them out of the shell slows me down. I could eat a bag of shelled pistachios in 1 minute flat. I have no willpower when it comes to pistachios.

What are the chances they would deliver it using a drone? I'd put aside my objections to the lack of effort if they were delivered using the sky-drop method. Also it would give me much needed target practice with my grandpappys .22 just in case of a zombie apocalypse or machines becoming sentient and trying to take over the world.
