And for me horse poop is akin to a rotting corpse. Everyone has they're weird. Lol

I'm right there with you on horse poop! My mom tried to have Yankee Candle make her a custom scent called Horse Dung. They said no.

I smell my hands after I catch a fish all the time. Haven't figured out if I like the smell yet, but I still do it.

Sounds like my mom! She has horses and I'm like man it smells terrible here!! Oh no it's just horse poop its great!! But yeah.... I totally smell my hands after a bass..... and I like it!

Also to me, puppy breath is one step above dead skunk. Yuck!

In my line of work, dead skunk smells like cash money!

Funny you would say that, the stench stays in leather longest when one fires off. My boots, belt, and wallet always smell the worst. Ive had to replace a lot of wallets! Already caught one skunk so far this morning, he's riding around town with me calmly so far

i for one am not a fan of the smell. Hate how it smells on my hands and reel and rod handles. I clean them with Dawn after every trip. Catfish, Fallfish and Carp are even worse.

It honestly depends a lot on the water you are fishing and their forage.  It never bothered me much fishing waters in western pa but here in eastern pa the smell about gags me and seems to stick on my hands and gear forever.

vinegar or lemon juice.

+ 1 on the puppy breath...I don't know that I intentionally smell my hands, but I can just smell the "odor" of the bass. I am happy to have caught one, but I always clean the "slime" off with lake water

Lol you are fine, weird people just don’t understand. It’s like the smell of manure on the fields in spring time, it stinks but you really can’t beat it.

smell of manure spread all over fields smells like money... my uncle had a feed lot cleaning buisness and also sells parts/complet spreaders

I grew up next to a field like that. Shew buddy you could smell it at the gas station, the school, and the church! Haha all about 1-2 miles away

I think of it as the smell of success. You have to enjoy that!
