Hello from Toronto

Featured Replies

Hey!  I'm new to this forum, back then when I was living in Hong Kong (that is before I came to Canada for university) I heard about some forum called Bassresource but I could never access it from there.  Now that I'm here I am finally able to join.  I've been bass fishing properly for about 2 years; however I have been fishing in general since I was 5, my father hooked me.  Of course, it took me a few years to be able to fish without help from my father, by the time I was 8 or 9 I was able to do this.  I just turned 18 and I'm excited to fish around my area in Toronto.  I have a load of gear on me and I can't wait to try it out here.  All of my gear is JDM, with the exception of a few packs of yum dingers lol

Hello and welcome to BR!

  • Super User

Welcome to the forum. I fish a few lakes that are 2-3 hours outside of Toronto every year for my yearly trip. Lots of good water and fish up there.

If you have any really cool JDM gear, you should post it up in the Show Off Your Stuff thread.

Welcome to BR young man. Hopefully other Ontario members will greet you.

Go fishing now while you can before the water gets too hard.

The timing is horrible right now, I've got my exams and this is my last window of opportunity.  Might have to get out on the water on Sunday, I'll try to squeeze it in.

Haha!  Let's meet somewhere halfway next season!

Hello from Ontario... KW. The weather is changing fast, not much time left in the season. Get out and fish if you can.

Welcome, I'm in oshawa, about 20 minutes from Toronto! I know a few spots around there if your ever in the mood to chat.

HK, wonderful having you with us.

Fill us in on your fishing adventures and what species you catch in China. This will be very interesting to us.

A number of new baits and techniques originated in Asia and when the pros and the guys and gals in California hear about them and start to use them in tournaments it drives us guys nuts.

Ask your questions and we will endeavor to give you our input.

Looking forward to your posts.

Welcome to board HK! I'm north of Toronto, and I usually fish north of Barrie.

Looking forward to seeing your latest catches and hearing about your latest visit from the bait monkey.

Tight lines!

I have things to share but I also have many questions to ask.  This is a new chapter for me, it is my first time bass fishing in North America.

Don't feel bad about this being the first time bass fishing in North America.

I know a number of guys who bass fish like it is their first time fishing in North America. :kiss-106:
