Oh I did not. I will have to go watch that one when I get the chance.

EDIT: Do you happen to have a link to the video? I'm having trouble finding it.

  • I do like Fish the Moment for the electronic techniques!

  • A lot of great channels listed here. I'm humbled BassResource is included among them.  Glad I can provide value, and help people improve their fishing skills.

“Hey folks Glenn May here Bassresource.com”    I’ve got it down pat. ?

I cut out the entire Googan Squad long ago. They hardly fish anymore. These days it's shenanigans and product pushing.

I stopped following guys like Kickin' Their Bass TV and LoJo because they're annoying; the dude bro style is insufferable. They fish, but they teach nothing. They behave like clowns.

DEBO is a good channel too. He's just an ordinary guy.

I watch a few different channels as well as reliving many of my own trips on video, which helps pass the long winter days.

Perhaps my favorite just straight up 'fishing' channel, is right here.

This gentleman puts together some of the most entertaining and relaxing video out there IMO.

And his Mr Rogers like voice is both calming & a little hypnotizing.

Most of all, he catches some gorgeous Brown & Green Bass !

Agree with a lot of the suggestions. One of my favorites is The Nature of Fishing. So much information about the fish themselves and their environment.

Also, while I wouldn't turn to the Googan Squad for fishing information, they are a masters course in marketing.

Just remember - NoF is produced by one of our own here on the boards.

In addition to Glenn's channel, I follow:

NDYakangler (The Bob Ross of fishing!)

The Nature of Fishing (Must-see in-depth treatment of bass behavior, environment, & conditions -- by our own @Paul Roberts!)

Fish Code Studios (biology professor Jimmy Liao on how bass respond to lures)

I follow Rad Rat.  I especially like Ask Rad Rat and the Retro Rippers episodes.  This has nothing to do with fishing, but it's what I've been watching lately.

I find I prefer channels with people who are not building a YouTube brand as a primary source of income, I also like to keep at least one channel for the major regions of the country to see what differences exist, might come in handy one day. My favorite is probably Debo's fishing overall, but that includes entertainment factor, for educational I think that Bassresource is at the top, I also like to watch Alex Rudd, and Realistic Fishing, the Googan's are an interesting bunch, but I don't really enjoy their content very often, it's as much (or more) about pushing the brand and marketing as any other aspect, and that gets tiresome after so long, there are also only so many times you can watch them flip out over "monster" fish that are lucky to tip 3lb on the scale, I have nothing at all against what they do, wish them all the luck in the world in fact, it's just not for me, other notably enjoyable channels for me include BassGeek, and Marling Baits, on the Fly fishing side of things Mad River Outfitters are fantastic, so is theslideinn, for trout/salmon species Addicted is hard to beat as well. Probably forgetting a few, but that's life in the big city eh?
