I was blessed to be asked by my ol boss to hit a local small lake yesterday.  Was amazing....amazing.  Very little wind....water temps in mid 50's ....cloud cover.  Perfect.....

Anyway his dad and himself and I went on an anything in the boat trip and the trash talking came alive....catfish, shad, lots of whites,LMB's, was a thumbs up day.  Only took me five minutes to tie a hook instead of twenty.  They had never done the drop shot....and even though it worked well I could tell it was not a favorite!!!  Mostly fished small lures on light line real slow and it was crazy once we found them....definitely an electronics time of year.....

Praise God...I got out again....hoping to get out Mon or Tues too......

Sounds like a good time. 

Getting the eye from mama...but went again yesterday and am going today too.  Supposed to be cold but...it will be BEAUTIFUL....yes.  Also will be exhausted but cannot pass up opportunities for these short windows.  Have a doc appt tomorrow and Thursday and only the good Lord knows how many following and their time frames....all good.  My wife's brother has been out from Oregon helping my wife with things and my friend took him yesterday too.  Wore him out....was awesome.

I'm finding I have to get a couple cups of coffee in me and some breakfast and then the ol eye's start to focus better...OMG....buddy today wanted to go out at eight and I said...CAN'T.....so ten it is....fishing should still be awesome...this rain and wind has really stacked the fish and they are hungry.

So anyway....good morning all....have a great day.

Last two days out have been so classic depth/fish finder days...find bait....see fish...go past bait....cast back to bait....reel in fish.

Was another amazing day...but this morning I am officially wore out....hmmmmm...exhausted is probably the word.  Off to Doc in a couple hours so glad I got the playing in....will probably sleep for a couple days....

OH......we were only boat on the lake....it was windy and cold and I loved it.  Fish....not so much....a lot of them had to breath fresh air for a minute while we took hooks out!!
