Probably $7-$8.  No way that I'm going to spend big bucks on a single lure.

Kittery Trading Post had a sale on MegaBass before Christmas.  I bought four Vision 110’s.

SPRO Rat or Savage Gear Glide. I also have a Livingston Walking Boss in the Amazon cart, waiting to pull the trigger. They're all about the same cost. I have a pain threshold, but I'll break it one day. The Rat has actually worked for me. When I was young and broke, I bought all my lures at WalMart and had a $5 limit I imposed on myself for a single bait. They had some exclusive deals that made baits cheaper that you could only get there. It really hurt to have a crankbait hung up and have to break it off. It's funny, now that I'm at a point in life where I have enough money to buy whatever I want (within reason, of course), I don't want that much stuff.

several old zoom squarebills(11 to be exact), my pappaw gave them to me years ago long before they were 50+ bucks a pop on ebay

Savage Gear Shine Glide, some Huddleston 68s.  Lucky Craft Pointers I bought at retail, Lucky Craft Staysee 90 v2s I found at Ollie's for $7ea.  ?

Jackhammer but I'm about to pull the trigger on some swimbaits as I want to venture into that wormhole.

I have never purchased a lure for fishing that cost more than $7.99. 

 

 

Mine would be my MegaBass Vision jerkbaits.  I have several, I've lost a couple, and it makes me cry. 

I have some OG HPHs Randall made custom for me, and an old Mattlures Hardgill that are priceless to me.

KTP is an excellent source for Megabass lures (and a lot of other lure brands as well). Their customer service is exceptional and their ship times aren't too bad either. If you sign up for their newsletter (it's free) they give you free shipping on every order $20 or more.

The most expensive lures I own are the swimbaits I made. Building materials to make swimbaits and time invested to make these lures is not cheap but it is worth it.

You guys who have $100+ lures: How do you dare throw them?  Call me naive but I had no idea there even were such lures.  I'd use 100lb braid and electric fence wire as a leader.  I'd keep a mask and snorkel in the boat to make sure I never lost one to a snag.

I have a couple of Luckycraft pointers, and Rapala X-Raps.  I stopped buying them when I inherited a bunch of Smithwick rogues.  I think I catch more on the rogues anyway.

Some years ago, when I was working, making good $$$, I had about 1500.00 worth of custom 3:16 baits, which ran from about $90.00 to 250.00..I was throwing the 250.00 trout on 25 lb Big Game mono..Never lost one of those lures, wound up selling all of them when I stopped fishing. Now I wish I had kept them..Most expensive lure I have now are my Huddelstons.

My most expensive lures are Lucky Craft Pointers and Sammys. I will never spend any more than that for a lure.

Over $200

My most expensive lure is the first one I made. After much thought and study I sprung for about $200+ in equipment and consumables to gear up to make lures. This is the first one. I made everything except the hooks. Granted, now that I've made it, all of the others will cost me about 60 cents each so It will be cost effective if I make enough of them, not to mention the fun and satisfaction to do this.

I'm not a big swimbait fisherman so I've steered clear of the really high dollar stuff.  But I have more Vision 110's than I'd care to account for...Actually more $25 class baits in general, I shouldn't tally them up ?.

 

The most valuable baits I have are probably several from this box...Some of these could probably bring a high price if I were to sell them.  

My most expensive lure by a long shot is my S-waver 200. I think the next most expensive baits that I own are probably a couple Jackall Mikey 140's that I got for $20 each.

$20 is about my limit.

I've got a bunch of Mothers, definitely the most expensive baits I own.

I've tried this, snorkeling brush piles 10 feet down is scarier than you think
