Quick questions about Sniper FC how is the knot for this line i heard that feels like mono and some knots can be used with success with this line, i know some fluro have issues with knot but how about Sunline Sniper  FC ?

Sniper is pretty forgiving, compared to most other fluorocarbon lines. Personally I would not use a Palomar or improved clinch knot with any fluoro line.

For me the best knot is the  double San Diego jam knot.  Very strong with good flourocarbon line.

It is also called the pitzen, or Shaw Grimsby knot

Not sure how to tie the Shaw Grimsby knot.    

I can however tie the Shaw Grigsby knot.

100% agree. Double San Diego Jam and no issues at all. Best knot i have found so far. Sniper is great line

I HAD mystery breakoffs while using Sniper and Palomar.  Since switching to the San Diego Jam knot, I've had zero issues with Sniper across 12-20 lb test.

^^^^^This all day long...and if tying the pitzen go through the eye twice

Absolutely no unexpected breakoffs here with Sniper since I switched to the Palomar knot after having knot failures with the improved cinch knot.

Except for punching and frogging, all I use is Sniper or Shooter and have for years. 
Never had a break off using either a single or double SDJ

I'll echo the recommendation for SDJ. Solved many problems for me. 

Is anyone still using the Uni? I've used the Palomar for most of my life but don't like the way it cinches down especially with fluoro. The Uni has been rock solid for me and it's still pretty quick to tie and doesn't waste much more line than a Palomar.

I use sniper and shooter also, the San Diego jam works for me, which is the single.

I can however tie the Shaw Grigsby knot.

I had been using the Grigsby knot and it is strong... however, the 3 tags all stick forward like prongs and I found they tend to catch moss and weeds a lot.  
 

I started tying the Double Shindo knot recently and it is tied almost exactly the same as the Grigsby knot except at the end you go through the loop at the bottom next to the hook eye instead of the loop at the top.  The result is that 2 of the 3 tags face backwards and don’t catch debris.  
 

So far, so good and either one is strongest knot I’ve ever tied.

It's all I use. #8 Sniper and Seguar InvisX. Both have been excellent. I also use a double-uni for braid to flouro.

I use a modified Uni.  It's basically just a regular Uni, but I loop it through the eye hole twice in the beginning.  It works pretty well with braided line too.  

 

Though I'll say I haven't had issues with the Palomar on FC Sniper.  The trick is to keep the line from getting twisted so the knot lays flat.  Though that's often easier to say than do, so I don't use it that often.

I do, I used to use the Palomar. The Palomar is a good knot, it is just easier for me to tie the Uni.

I believe it’s technically the Swindle Double Shindo over the creek beside the barn foothold knot. 
 

I have Sniper fc on several setups. I haven’t had any issues with knots. Typically I tie Palomar or what I’ve always called the Trilene knot. 

Palomar knot works OK if you don't twist the loop for hooks and snaps.

San Diego Jam knot works good. For hooks and snaps I clip on a cloths pin for added weight while tieing, lure weight it isn't needed.

Palomar knot for my hooks and improved clinch knot for my lures never failed me once.

I use a knot that I saw Gary Klein tie in a video on youtube. Similar to the Double Shindo down by the barn knot but not exactly. He never did say what it was called but I have had good success with it.

I use sniper, and it’s been really great line. I also use the Palomar with it and haven’t had any issues. I’d did break a couple fish off a few weeks back but then I realized I was using segaur abraizx as leader line. Went back to sniper no issues. 

Ok my plan is to use as main line on my spinning reel, since i dont like leader knots too much

 

how a bout Sniper FC as main like on a Spinning, just got 14lbs to put on one of my reels, checked on Sunline site and they recommended 7lbs for spinning , do you believe i can have issues with 14 lbs?

I miss the old shooter Green they made. Also the shooter invisible. If I could find some I’d buy them up
