14 days to flatten the curve, 7 months later, I have no idea what's going on.

Hurricane Laura devastated Southwest Louisiana, 41 days later we're still digging out. 1/4 of all houses, businesses, & churches are gone.

Two of my close friends were diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. We laid one of them to rest yesterday.

My back pain went from a 7.5 to a solid 9!

I just wanna going fishing, it that to much to ask!

The worst things for me so far this year was my closest cousin dying suddenly in January, and my daughter totaling my truck. She’s ok at least...  My brother supposedly caught the virus but never showed any symptoms. Thankful for that.

Praying for you and yours @Catt

Yep it sounds like your having a rough go in an already dumpster fire of a year. Life has a way of piling it on...really kicking you when your down. Hang in there dude. In the words of red green...remember pullin for ya were all in this together!

So far this year wife and I both lost our way of bringing in income. Suffered a horrible fall that set me back for almost a year. Only good times were fishing with my son more than ever, hoping hunting season will be a bright spot along with Christmas. I'm really glad to be alive and mobile and functioning :) always glad for what I have. This all will pass, no sense letting it get you down and spoiling your good times. Survival is in our DNA..........

Catt, you probably can go fishing in front of your house during and after the storm passes.

Be safe and let us know all is well when you can.

We will be thinking of you this weekend and all of the people in that part of Louisiana.

Catt, it's not to must to ask but life can be very unforgiving at times.

Hold your head up and keep contributing to your community and the things you love to do and share your experiences so we may gain some emotional advantage.

Certainly been tough down there.

And you can add that LSU football sucks big time this year.

You are being "tested" and I am sure you will pass with flying colors.

Please watch your health and don't do anything that will inflame your back pain.

Things will get better.

Hope you are feeling a bit better. Stubbled on this thread late. Sorry. Best of luck to you and your family.
