New member - bass fisherman from Denver, wait what?

Featured Replies

Just joined a day ago and been following Bass Resource for the last year as I embarked on my first competitive year of kayak bass fishing. Absolutely love the game planning and traveling to new bodies of water around our great nation to compete. Looking to learn and hopefully help with my perspective if it is relevant. With some decent success locally (4th AOY, 1st ROY) I want to expand my skills to compete outside of Colorado. We can only fish for the same bass for so long! Kidding, there are plenty of big ones here that I can't seem to trick. Grew up in Houston, jumping fences to farm ponds and then after moving to Colorado 20+ years ago found the love again for fishing via the fly. Fishing is a lifelong passion and I really enjoy sharing it with my family. Excited to meet others as obsessed as me. Best.

Welcome aboard FlyK,

Maybe we will see you at some of the upcoming BASS/BOS events! I'm going to try to attend a few of each this year.

I grew up outside of Houston and moved to Iowa almost 20 years ago. Welcome aboard.

Haha Thanks. We went opposite directions. Although I had no say in the matter. Best!
