This is where mine comes from. His name was Angus. He patrolled my home all night, every night protecting my wife and children while I spent every night away from home protecting other people’s famili

Made it up 20+ years ago for some bbs, I think.  Chop from a nickname I had for a while (short for pork chop).  And appended one of my dog's names backwards (Zoro).

basseditor — I came up with the idea when I was editor at BASSWEST magazine. I'm still an editor and bass fish, so I continue to use it on all my social media, forum and YouTube accounts.

MN - for Minnesota

Fisher - cause that's what I do - I fish.

Michigander, that's the official term for a person from Michigan. Seemed accurate given my location. ?

And occasionally when I see your handle, Kent...I think 'Mad Max wanna-be'. ;)

The Iowa Hawkeyes are my favorite team and 21 was my jersey number when playing sports.

No. That would have been BrianTXMD lol!

Ya all already know!

The moniker is borrowed from my time in the Army, we had a guy who claimed he was half Cherokee (think Warren) his name was Brewer and was as caucasian as newly fallen snow. After being called out by his own Mother a Native American Soldier pinned the name to him.

I appropriated the handle as I love to BS.

Boring story: It's my old NT login from work: jfrancho, made with your first initial, and last name, limited to 8 characters.  At some point, our software didn't allow you to use the same handle as your login, so I capitalized the letters, and added a space: J Francho.  My name is John Franchot.  The T at the is not actually silent, though I respond to "Frank-O," even though it's actually pronounced using common rules of English.  I kind of like the nick name version.  The name is an Ellis Island victim of Polish origin.  I think it was originally spelled Franczuit, or something similar.

Well, mine was taken from Army of Darkness as many of you may have guessed.

Some years ago, I was playing a Counter strike source zombie mod and I had HLSS setup to play various sound clips from Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness and people usually got a kick out of it, so I started using the nickname Boomstick as well, and it was my gaming tag so it carries over whenever I need a user name.

I'm surprised you didn't use Frank/0 to be honest. We all get it :)

Mine is a shortened down version of GoldenRebel which was my username on a sports board. I grew up a Southern Miss fan and graduated from Ole Miss so it’s just a merger of Golden Eagles and Rebels

According to the lore, the boomstick was made in Grand Rapids, MI about 45 min from me, and Ash was a student at MSU, about 20 minutes from me. So I picked up on that one. ?

It's my name. Also, most people think it's the year I was born. I just liked to watch NASCAR as a kid and the Earnhardts where my favorite drivers.

"Ess" is a 30 year old nickname that a few old friends still call me. It started because some guys I worked with couldn't pronounce my last name. So they took to calling me Ess. Then another guy with the same nickname came to work there. They then started calling me Old Ess or The Real Ess. I preferred the latter, so I just changed Real to Reel to make a pun about fishing

Fishin is what I do

Buckeye is what I am

07 is when I married the love of my life

Nothing special really!

Mine shows my lack of creativity. My nickname and the year I was born.

My father in law is also named Rick. Back in my LEO days I was a buff 6'1" and 220 lbs while my father in law, who is on the Search and Rescue team as a diver, was 5'9" and 150 lbs. Thus, to distinguish between us I was dubbed Big Rick. It kinda stuck over the years.

It’s the sweet smell of success gentlemen! Maybe I’m part Jack Russell but pitch me a bass down on the grass and I’ll roll and woller on it. If you ain’t smelling fishy enough to entice a bear to cover 5 mile to get to you after a day on the water then you ain’t wiggling your worm the right way!!! ?

Mine has a hidden meaning. I figure this way I have to own up to whatever I say.
