Featured Replies

Hey Everyone,

I'm a relatively new bass fisher (although i got hooked catching a bluegill with my daughter), and currently living in Southern California near North OC.

I look forward to learning alot from you folks and hopefully sharing my PB's in the future.

Thanks everyone! Kind of rough being a beginner fisherman but I think I see some progress thanks to this community.

Hello @Rora from Northern California, welcome to Bass Resource and the Forums!

Welcome. You have a few suburban park ponds around you to fish, but not a lot of other close by options.

I grew up 'north OC-adjacent' in La Mirada.

Hi Rora, I’m somewhat of a novice myself and I live in Northwest Orange County. I’m always looking for someone to go fishing with. If you’re ever interested PM me and we can meet up sometime. If you’re looking for some great info and gear go checkout Fisherman’s Access in Brea or Performance Tackle in Los Alamitos. Both places have a really good selection of quality tackle and gear and the guys at both places are down to earth and willing to point a new guy in the right direction. This site seems like a great place to learn also but if your like me you will learn better when you’re face to face and can get all you’re questions answered without having to wait for reply’s.
