New to fishing. only been out twice to a local lake down the road from my house in west GA and sadly didn’t catch a thing either time. 

im looking to catch bass and pan fish but im clearly in need of some direction. ive long been interested in fishing but until recently haven’t ever had the chance to actually get some gear and get out on the water. 

any advice is welcome and appreciated.

having trouble finding how to make such updates to my profile. am i just missing something that’s right in front of me?

thats the question for our moderators. But it shouldn't be hard to click on your name and click on complete my profile, and add information.

maybe it’s just issues with using this site on mobile because i can’t seem to adjust anything other than visible name and email and such. i guess i’ll have to try logging on on my computer and see if that fixes the issue.

yes do that on full page browser.

well, still isn't letting me (or i just simply can't find the option) to add information. It's telling me my profile is 100% complete with no further options for adjustments or additions. 
So I'll just post some info here instead. I live in West GA (Carrollton/Douglasville area) I have a local park lake that I go to to fish. I'm completely amateur at fishing. I'm looking to catch bass and pan fish, but mostly just to enjoy my time out fishing, regardless of what I catch or how big.
