Last thing I threw were both boat trailer hubs.

Swim jig/paddletail or an underspin/paddletail.

Popper, spinnerbait, jig, lipless crank. Lately I'm getting most bites on a shaky head worm.

Double Willow Spinnerbait, 3" swimbaits on Okashira Screwheads and soft jerkbaits. Fall is pretty much here for me. Overnight temps have dropped drastically in the past week and a half and the fish are getting super aggressive.

Can't put down the texas-rigged rage menace. Been throwing it all year and waiting for it to stop working. Still waiting.

Cool! Let me know you you do.

Jackhammer, Bhite Delite, with a rage menace......

My fishing has been limited this year, busy summer, but I can probably count on one hand the number of casts I've taken with something else this year....

About the only reliable bite I have going on right now is the early morning topwater.  Outside of that, the bites are few, and far between, and don't exhibit a pattern (that I'm seeing).

Today it was Elaztech worms rigged shaky.  We caught 23 this morning.  However, we only managed 4 keepers.

Punch rig , spinnerbait and buzzbait for the most part.

Frog, buzz bait, finesse jigs.

I fished Friday, Saturday and Sunday at three different lakes and had two baits that worked and only these two baits.....

Weightless wacky rigged 5in and 6in Senko (any dark color)

6in Zoom Lizard (black with either a blue or yellow tail)

I tried all sorts of baits> cranks, ribbon tail worms, jigs, topwater of all kinds, and finesse rigged soft plastic.  The main thing was patience.  No power fishing.  I just let the bait sit a longer and took my time.

Friday I caught 12, Saturday 15, and 11 on Sunday.  Won this weekend's tournament to boot.   Best week of fishing I have had in long time.

Well if I can ever make it out, I would be throwing mostly the same lures as August, just focusing more on shallow water. This would be jigs, t-rigs, tubes, crankbaits, spinnerbaits, jerkbaits and hollow body frogs mostly.

My dad just had surgery so I have to take care of him right now. He's home and doing well with minimal restrictions, he just can't lift more than 10 pounds and can't drive, so I am hoping this weekend I may get some fishing in.

Swimjig! Swimjig! Swimjig!  The fact that I can throw that thing in and around any sort of cover is huge in me getting bites!  Currently throwing a 3/8 oz 6th sense divine swimjig with a menace grub trailer.  Went out last saturday and the fish were in 6-8 inches of water.  Threw that swimjig in the thickest of brush piles right at shore.  The bass were way up in there.  Couldnt get bit 2-3 feet off the pile, but right smack dab in the middle, would get hammered.

If there has been enough wind and or clouds in the evening the chatterbait bite has been getting good.  Otherwise its the swimjig that's been producing the best fish.  Here the bigger fish are definitely on the move,  the 3rd day before the new moon corresponded with a drop in pressure rain/wind and the reaction bite was full on.

Welcome back

chatterbait and a frog. last time out the frog bite was producing way more bites but the hook up to land ratio was a big problem. they kept getting unbuttoned as they wrapped themselves in the thick pads.
