If that's real then wow. I guess it is but it seems like he got worse at it the more he tried, and the last few shots just seemed....well maybe he was drunk.

 

It almost seems too good/bad to be true, but then again, it IS a boat ramp  

 

If someone asked me "Hey where can I go to see people doing some really dumb things?" I'd point them to the nearest launch. End of the day after all the beers are gone and they are pulling the boat out.

A jeep seems very undersized for such a large bay boat too.

This is a major issue with buying boats. That guy was able to go out and purchase that boat, with absolutely no knowledge on how to use it. Imagine if it was the same way with cars? I don't understand why there isn't a boaters education class just like there is with driving.

The guy pulled out of the parking lot and immediately drove back to the boat dealer. He probably asked for a refund.

He never took the transom straps off.

Same for motor homes. People decide to buy a 40’ motor home and head down the highway at 70 mph. Accident waiting to happen.

Yep, our state gives free boating seminars but they're voluntary. But the first thing I did when I purchased my first trailered boat was to set up 2 cones in a parking lot and practice backing up between them. Same parking lot I learned to parallel park too!

I wondered that too. I don’t think they were straps.

Definitely trim tabs not transom straps. I think you can actually see the disconnected straps on the trailer next to the trim tabs.

I was impressed with the complete circle he did in reverse.
