Might be a dumb question but does anyone do anything special when storing unused mono to keep it in fish fighting shape?

I store mine in a shoebox in the closet.

One of the drawers of a 'rescued' kitchen cabinet in the basement...other two drawers store my reels during ice-season.

I store mine inside the house BECAUSE I believe line becomes weak when stored in high temperatures for long periods of time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I keep mine in a drawer down in the basement. 

I keep mine in the bait closet in the garage.

I store mine in plastic boxes in my basement.

Room temperature, out of the sun.

Fishing room in my basement away from windows\ sunlight

Drawer in the basement.  Never over 65* there.

This thread was a good reminder for me to treat mono better than fluoro

4 & 6# stays in a yeti with ice. I change out the ice 2 times a week. All others i keep in an open steel box on the roof of my house.
