Currently using Flying Fisherman sunglasses, they are relatively low end I'm paying like $20 a pair. Hate to go with a $100+ pair as I feel like they will get  scratched or lost. Anything in the $40 to $75 price range that you feel are very well made and worth the money?

Is there a difference between those $20 glasses you have and the $75 glasses your lookin at?

Wiley X offers a few fishing models in that price range and if your patient, you can pick up a pair on sale at one of the sporting goods sites.  The lenses are shatter proof, so if your 1/2oz. tungsten jig comes flying back at your face at Mach 1, they'll save your eyesight too. That's provided it hits your sunglasses and not your noggin.

I have a pair of prescription DVX sunglasses. They’re made by Wiley X. I love ‘em. In non prescription they’re $54 in the Walmart optical department.

Wiley X also does prescription lenses thru their authorized distributors. They ain't cheap. Every time my prescription changes, I send my frames in for replacement lenses. Turnaround is about a week.

I’ve been wearing Kastking sunglasses for a few years now and have been very happy. 

I have 3 pairs of Wiley-X, if that says anything.

Also note that Wiley-X wasn't at the Classic nor ICAST this year when they've been there for years.  That's a concern. They moved from CA to TX 2 years ago, and lost a lot of people in the process. So they're going through some growing pains.  But maybe you can get a great pair at a good price.

I have a bigazz head and finding cheap sunglassesis an adventure. I had a Strike king pair that lasted acouple of years (broke) and had to get new ones this year.I found a pair at Menards for $20 and they fit perfect. When i got home and looked at myself wearing them and i started laughing. I kinda looked like Charles Nelson Riley.  My fishin bud now calls me Nelson.

Nines and Eye Surrender have frames in this price range, too. Both have worked well for me.

Strike King S11 are a great value.

I wear the IKE renagade series in blue, they're 20 bucks but I feel like they're a steal and should be 50, designed and made pretty good. IMO 

I'm not sure what makes sunglasses "fishing" vs. "non fishing," but Goodr (that's how they spell it) makes very nice polarized glasses in a ton of styles and colors for $25/pair:

Yeah, I might give him a try as his prices look really good. How can I tell if these are counterfeit? I've seen a lot of amazing counterfeit products from China that even fool a lot of retailers. Not casting shade on this Chris, just recognizing it's become a big problem and want to know I'm getting the real deal.

I bought a pair of Orvis polarized sunglasses with 1.5X readers because I could no longer see to tie line and was always forgetting my readers. I've had them for about 6 years and they don't have a single scratch. Of course, I only use them for fishing. They were $60.

 

My other pair are Calcuttas. They look expensive but aren't. $20-30. They get the job done. I'm a thrifty fisherman, spending the money where it matters most.

My wife bought a pair of Costas from him last year and I’ve purchased about 5 reels from him over the years. I haven’t had any issues.

Mine costed 95 bucks online about 5 years ago.  They were on sale in December though with the holiday special and all.  They are legit.  Not exactly sure when luxottica bought them, mine are probably before that.

i wear the oldest pair of Native Sunglasses as my daily eye protection.  fantastic inexpensive sunglasses.  they fit my gigantic melon of a head perfectly.  i have worn them fishing and they are fine.  my fishing glasses i believe are a pair of Arnettes.  i love them for the comfort.  i have replaced the lenses with aftermarket.  but the fit and protection are awesome.  both are about $60 - $70 IIRC

 

both sunglasses keep my glass lens Costas at home.  i keep the Costas mostly for the ocean these days. 

hahaha..i just found a pic of me wearing my Natives.  they really have been in my rotation a very long time.  i bet this was 8 years ago.
