Out of work, out of benefits and very hungry?

Or a member of a group that thinks holding animals like this in captivity is just wrong and decided to set this one free?

OMG that is just crazy. Maybe it was just a dare or some crazy TIK TOK challenge. Not even a good fish to eat. So this ends up as a senseless killing and very stupid stunt.

I think the bigger question is why all those people stood around and just watched as this skinny dipsh** took the fish.  Obviously he stole the net too.

One must be careful before making a citizen's arrest or confronting the suspect about something unlawful. The tables can be turned and that person now himself has a legal problem. Ain't right. But that's the world we live in.

What kind of person does something like this?

Someone from Florida 😂

I love visiting Florida and have family there so no offense to my Floridian friends… but man, all the weirdest news stories come from your state haha.

I have lived in Florida for 73 years and you are spot on.  The things that happen here are just weird.  The majority of the current population is from somewhere else.  When I ran my company in South Florida, you never knew who or what was going to walk through the door.  I once had a client that was one of 80 children.  His father was a king or something from an African country that had a dozen wives.   Politics, especially in Miami, is very strange.  Between the New York and New Jersey Folks, Latins and who knows who else, it's in a constant state of turmoil.  Driving and traffic is insane.  Other than that, it's paradise.  Fishing opportunities are endless.  The good news is there are small cities in Central and North Florida where you can escape the madness, at least for now.

This particular stunt has to be a dare, social media video or something similar.  Tarpon are worthless as food.  This guy is not taking it home to eat.  He made no attempt to shield his identity.   I'm not sure what the charge would be as the net and the fish couldn't be worth much. I have to admit it would be fun to watch.  😅

If I saw someone doing that or these other stunts we see in stores I have no problem intervening tripping up that person.

Decent people need to start taking a stand.

Change that to Snow & Cold and that's northern Michigan too.

Florida Man is undefeated.

Tik Tok challenge, PETA warrior, unmedicated mentally ill person are my guesses.

The Tarpon's life is significantly more valuable than that human, hopefully he doesn't procreate.

"Only in Florida" should be the state slogan.

I had family and friends that lived there for years before either passing away or moving.  It's has become increasingly crazier over the years.

There was someone following him with a phone and recording, it was surely for "Tik Tok Fame".
