Anyone know of any light wire, belly weighted EWGs that come in a 1/0 or #1 size? The only ones I've found are the ones linked below and they do work pretty well after bending the point out a bit. Would like to find some in a #1 if possible. If anyone is aware of any, please let me know. Otherwise I might try to tie some lead wire on a bare hook and see how that goes

Check out the Decoy DS-12 Slide Weight, SPRO Slide Sinker or the Decoy CS-2 Plus.

 

 

 

 These are weights you add to an EWG. 

 

 And they can be added to your favorite finesse EWG.

 

I think the CS-2 Plus would work best here.

1/0 is their smallest,  I use the 1/16 and 1/8 for small paddletails over grass cover.

Not ideal but I had a 1/0 Owner Flashy Swimmer wire break off and edned up using it for worms and other Texas Rigged baits. It's got a heavy to medium wire hook but without the blade and wire it sits just like a jig head. It works great. 

 

The smallest weighted thin wire hook I have seen is from Decoy but the smallest size is a 2/0.

These look like a heavier wire to me. Is that the case or no? Also looking for the weight to be a little further back. Trying to get a horizontal fall

Pretty light, like Owner Light Weighted X gauge. The weight definitely will not slide down. What plastic are you putting on these?

Yeah I've used these before. Not what I'm looking for

You may not find what you are looking for. I use the above weights, and sometimes cut to the length (weight) that suits my needs. You could mash on a splitshot also. 

I make my own

Owner Twist Lock finesse hook and add a rubber core sinker. Remove the rubber and pinch on the weight of your choice.

How so? With the crimp weights?

I've used split shot, lead wire and even spare change 

Edit - but those pinch wts work good too

Falcon used to makes great ones, but I think they discontinued them. I bought a bunch when they were on close out a couple of places. They used Gammy hooks too.

Use these with some epoxy or a piece of heat shrink over the weight.
