Eventually, the titanium frame just snaps

Work hardening

As metal is bent, its crystalline structure becomes more complex, which can make it harder and less ductile. This means that while the metal is stronger, it's also more likely to break if enough force is applied. For example, bending a paper clip back and forth until it breaks is a demonstration of work hardening.

Titanium is an extremely difficult metal to work with. Bending titanium wire is difficult because it's tendency is to straiten back out.

Great informational response @Catt.  Got my science lesson for the day right here.

I have interviewed aerospace workers for decades. I always preface the interview with this: "I will know none of your acronyms, jargon, and technical terms. Talk to me as if I were a second grader and this interview will go great."

@ol'crickety PM me your address if you would like some spinnerbaits that should do very well for your Maine bass. I have much less use for them here in TX.

Great job. Love the Spinnerbait bite

I'm spinnerbaiting again tomorrow morning. And jig fishing. And I've got a T-rigged beavertail too. Change is afoot!

Why would they be good for Maine but not Texas?

Brightly colored bluegill spinnerbaits that don’t work so good for me in the waters I fish here, but up north on ponds they were killer

I’m not buying it either. @TnRiver46 has either been hacked, or there has been a glitch in the matrix. 😂

I suspect an alien has occupied his brain. Look at his spinnerbait bass photos and note the green cast to his skin and his slightly glowing eyes.

I'm not sure I'm ready to accept a world where @TnRiver46 catches bass on a popular lure that even beginners catch bass on.  😭😭😭😭

Russ has just experienced what most of us already knew - spinnerbaits work.

My avatar bass was spinnerbait caught...:cheer:

It's a good thing that he's a good dude with a sense of humor because we all give him a hard time about spinnerbaits! 🤣

My PB was caught on a spinnerbait a couple of years ago; the first and only 7 lber I've caught.
