Favorite bass that you DIDN'T catch

Featured Replies

Probably this one. Found him about a month ago stuck on the end of a line hanging from a tree that someone broke off. Had to climb down a small cliff and wade out knee deep to rescue him. Little fish but I thought it was cool that I was able to save him.

Pretty envious of Kurita's 22 lb 5 ounce bass - would have to be considered the new legitimate world record if the universe was fair and the record organization was sane.

It WAS bigger than Perry's alleged record and verified every way imaginable and it wasn't snagged on a bed.

Hard to beat a legit world record!

As for fish I enjoyed being there for:

Jake and Meagan both got PBs while I steered the trolling motor and that's hard to beat 🙂🙂🙂

I'm pretty sure he uses heavy spinning tackle only IIRC.

-Edit...it's true.  Found a clue...

Actually, mostly ultra light spinning was his deal.  Dude caught sturgeons on UL gear.

No doubt about it, Dottie.

Dottie was the fish that showed Bass anglers weren't dreaming big enough.

Dottie is the world record IMHO
