Hey all. I'm a little crazy about line right now. Which of the above will do the best concerning knot strength, abrasion resistance, and castability?

Berkley Big Game without a doubt

I like SpiderWire for 10-20lbs,trilene for finesse, and Fireline for heavy cover.

Seaguar Carbon Pro 100% fluro for 95% of my rigs and Power Pro for braid.

I don't know which one is "best", but my choice would not include any of the options in the poll.

My "favorite" is Yo-Zuri Ultra Soft.

Ever since I met Denny Brauer and discussed his new favorite line, I've switched.  It is Mustad Thor for all the qualities you're looking for.   There's my vote for "other"!

go with sunline shooter or fc sniper, its expensive but once you try it you wont go back, or pline

I guess I'm in the "other" category,too.I use Berkley XL,Big Game,Vanish,and Yo-Zuri Hybrid for my various bassin' applications.

I personally like the Cajun Red Cast, my knots seem to hold better with this than with some other lines.

For mono Berkly Trilene XL (dont get XT) cant be beat. For braid I use Power Pro.

I use P-Line CXX. So far, I am well pleased with it. I'm not sure if it is fluoro or what??

I swear by Tuffline XP Braid and for mono, Berkley XL seems to do the trick for me.

What I meant was has anyone used any of the above mentioned lines, and how did they perform?

Im a trilene fan trimaxx is great i used some 6 lb stuff tryin to catch a few crappie water was cold but it handled great no luck though it was like 39 deg and droppping spur of the moment   im not to much on there other lines but when it comes to mono TRILENE   is the best out there very consistant. I use  10,12, 15,20 lb big game for all of my BIG baits in salt and fresh water   and use XT 4 lb  and 2 for my ultra lights and sensation 6 and 8 for reg spinning applications.The month i have been messing with POWER PRO not fishing it yet to cold but so far fiddling with knots and outside casting made me a BELIEVER i love this stuff!  BTW if anyone is a fan of big game if u see any solar collector in 10 or 12 lb BUY it up its hard to find and i see they dont make it anymore or maybe i missed the specs on it on the bass pro site and cabelas site i could be wrong??
