Anyone hunt brown bears?

Looking for a source of brown bear hair for jigs. Small scraps would work I just can't find any. Figured I would ask to see if anyone hunts for them or know a taxidermist.

Not sure that’s legal in America

Alaska and Canada's Yukon Territory are the only places that brown bear hunting is allowed on the continent.

I shot a black bear several years ago and had a fly fishing buddy swing by and took several bags of hair and a few claws.

He also uses deer hair.

Black and chartreuse hair jigs was a go-to bait in our river for smallmouth.

I was researching black bear for carving and found out.

Sorry, bug Ron Burgandy fan here and could only think of that scene…

“I read somewhere that their periods attract bears. The bears can smell the menstruation.”

”Well, that's just great. You hear that, Ed? Bears. Now you're putting the whole station in jeopardy.”
