Tackle Warehouse?

Are any of you having delivery issues?  I normally get good service.  I’ve had an order in for over a week and it hasn’t shipped yet.

if you ordered during the Memorial Day sale, I would say that’s about normal if it ships in the next few days.

I always order over the phone that way you know the delivery date and if the order is split between East and West coast  or on back order.

TW has excellent Customer Service to track your order.

I’ve always had this issue. For like a decade. I would place an order of items in stock, and it wouldn’t ship for a week.

I said enough of that and found an alternate supplier.

I have had similar issues. Very slow shipping. Do I have to have the stuff next day to go fish local ponds. Nah. But I’d like it shipped in a timely manner. I literally just placed an order last night. We will see how long it takes. It said delivery date should be June 9. We will see. I’ve had better shipping and buying experience with Omnia.

Yeah, their shipping isn't the greatest. I actually paid extra for second day shipping awhile back. Still took a week. They did refund me $14.00 for the extra cost though.

Wow see that’s kinda crappy. But atleast they refunded it. They have the greatest selection I’ve found yet. Over the last decade. But ya definitely wait a while. And they forgot my sticker last $50 dollar plus order lol!! And yes I added it to cart.

I agree.

They are about 5 miles from me so I just stop in there for pickup when I order something. Just went there last week in fact.

In in Iowa. So not far. But I couldn’t believe how fast they shipped and how fast I received my order lol. It was next day.

Not sure if it’s always that way or I got lucky lol. I’ll have to order something some time and see. I’m trying to not buy anything else the rest of the season lol

Whenever I place an order at Omnia, it’s ready either that same business day or the next business day for pickup. Usually around noon is the cut off time.

I do order a few times a year from tackle warehouse, delivery times have varied from very quick to a little longer than expected. Had no issues on 1 rod I returned.

Never had any shipping issues with TW. Sometimes it takes a couple of days to ship out but that doesn’t bother me at all.

I’m just a few hours west of TW and once my order ships, I usually get it next day or 2 days. THE ONLY “delay” I’ve ever had was after some Black Friday shopping. I actually stopped in there this weekend. The storefront is not impressive in that they have limited selections of stuff on the floor, but their warehouse is HUGE.

Despite moving 1000 miles away from Omnia, I still got an order from them within 5 days during the holiday week. I placed 2 other orders the same day - one at TW and one at ALF - it is now 8 days and neither have been shipped yet.

They are experiencing issues with the UPS hub in Atlanta, has caused hiccups in shipping, they have begun to utilize Fed-Ex some as a result, had several issues as of late on 2nd day air shipments not arriving on time, which they always made it right by refunding the cost of the expedited shipping.

The issues have seemingly not been TW's fault, never had an issue until the past few months... Apparently UPS has staffing issues, obviously that is a mega hub for them there in Atlanta... The packages get picked up and then sit at the UPS hub for an extended period of time before even being scanned into the system... so it seems like TW has not shipped them, but they have... Read somewhere not too long ago UPS was making staffing cuts, no idea if this is their new norm, but 4 out of the last 5 orders with 2nd day air shipments did not arrive on time for me... after years of never having an issue one time. I have no local tackle shops and am a bit of a tackle junkie so I place a lot of orders through TW.

I have had several instances with ALF not actually having what you order, despite it not showing clearly as a backorder item on their website. It may be worth a call as you may find what you ordered wont be shipping anytime soon. They have never made an attempt to inform me, I always had to call... The last time they stated they had a new system for inventory, but needed to find the time to do an inventory to implement it.

Always had great luck with Omnia, The Hook Up and TW other than recent UPS issues with TW.

Yes, had similar issues with ALF before.. I use them because of their trade-in program. But man, their delays and "ghost" stock are happening more and more often it seems.

I had similar issues with TW. Slow shipping and the fact that I had two separate cards, two separate occasions compromised was enough for me to refuse to do business with them.

Bass Pro Shops, Omnia and Fish USA all have fast shipping, anything I ordered was in stock and are secure.

I normally use Omnia but TW had a soft plastic I REALLY wanted which Omnia didn't have.

This was about a month ago.

No issues on shipping.
