Tennessee Shad is my number one when chasing smallmouth. Ive also done well with Metallic Silver Blue.

TW has the original bone on sale, good color.

I grabbed a couple from the tw bargain bin sale, went with bluegill and Tennessee shad. Haven't tried them yet so no reports.

Metallic Silver Chartreuse and Tennessee Shad.

I just looked and I didn't see the one I typically use. Maybe it is from Pre-Rapala buyout. I think it was a perch color. Others I have are the Green Gizzard, Bluegill, or Hot Frog (Firetiger) colors.

I have several old ones. Havent used them a lot.I have caught a few fish with a bone one.

Unless they are cruising just below the surface, they can only see the bottom. Keep it simple - white, black and bone.

Now where's the fun in that!! 😄

I'm embarrassed as I've never even heard of a chug bug, had to google it.

Some interesting color options. Not sure how I feel about chrome.

I have three older ones that need new hooks.  I need to fix them up and take them fishing.

I have had the most success on two colors of Chug Bugs. Bone and Metallic Silver/Blue, so that's the only colors I carry.

Fire tiger was always my favorite.

I thought I had one of those when I was a kid. Upon researching it, it turns out it was a color called Hot Frog. I never caught anything on it, but I wasn't a very good angler.

Bleeding tenessee shad……literally only color fleetfarm here sells lol. I don’t stress top water bait colors. They only see the bottom. Chug bugs great when the waters real calm and low wind

Mine was from the 90's until it decided to toss in the towel.  I wish I could find another one like it.  The ones today are not the same.

I only have one. It's frog pattern. But for all the fish can see, it's chartreuse and orange. The frog pattern is just for me. LOL
