Bonafide pwr - what is this thing for?

Featured Replies

This will probably be a quick answer, but, behind the seat in the rear well area. There is a small round bar that is roughly 3-4" long. Can anyone tell me what its for?

I can’t tell from the picture if that bar is over the live well and under the lid. If so it’s possible it’s for culling tags to hang from.

I wanna add a bigger photo for more detail, but the image size restriction limits it.

Gimmie a few. I’ll ask Chad at KBF…

Called a locking bar. It’s for running a security cable through, or any other tie down straps for securing cargo.

Now that you mention tie down for cargo....I could use that tie point for holding down a battery box at that location.

He also said it adds a little support/stability in that area since the bulkhead is really short there.

Email yourself the photo from your phone and choose a reduced file size when sending. You can then post that emailed copy of the picture.

Alternatively, you can use an app for resizing. I use compress.

I just like that the camera app on my Samsung has a built in editing function....including resizing.

Yeah, you use android. Somehow Steve Jobs didn’t think that was necessary…

You can do it just fine on iphone.  When you click 'choose files' on the BR reply menu it pops up your photo library.  select the photos and before hitting 'add' look at the bottom right corner of the screen.  There is a two slider button- tap it. Then choose the size of photo you want to upload.  Large will usually do it if you haven't edited the photo at all.

Dude - that’s awesome.

Yep.  I used to resize everything and had a separate folder on the phone for resized photos.  I learned this trick here on BR so I spread the love.

3 dots, bottom right corner...tap that and you have more editing options including resize. At least on my A-51 and the wife's S23....if your S24 doesn't have it, then for some reason they removed it.

Back to the original topic… I’m pretty sure that is to thread a strap through to hold something down or in. A further back pic of where it is would help too,

Im trying to adjust the photo size from my camera album. But I got nothing. There's gotta be a way. Let me try a resizing app as others mentioned......

That worked!!!! Yessss. You can see the securing point that I mentioned in the original post. Its right in front of the seat. Or behind the seat, whichever makes sense 😀
