My boat needs new floors/covering. What do you prefer? Marine grade plywood? Vinyl/carpet/EVA? 

Plywood and carpet.

Never going back to carpet in a boat again

I used 1/8" aluminum to build the deck and floor in my 16' jon boat and Seadek eva floor covering. The deck will never rot and the Seadek is holding up great 4 years in. 

Vinyl for the horizontal surfaces is much easier to maintain than carpet.

I really like the sea dek. I’d probably do generic since I only plan to keep this boat 3 or so years before I can get a bigger boat. 

I think the point to made here is that the two worst options are:
 

Wood and carpet

Put some tile in there 😂 

@TnRiver46 keeping the grout lines clean will be a full time job 😂

When I modified my 16’ X 50” jon into a bass-jon, I went with 3/4” plywood covered with an eva material. Three years in and still doing great. No issues whatsoever.
