Where are y’all getting your weedless swim jig heads from?

Looking for 1/4-1/2 oz sizes in white, black and pumpkin.

^ What Tom said - Mike Siebert makes fantastic jigs of all type.

I get mine custom from a guy off eBay.
Mike's from @Siebert Outdoors makes some very nice jigs of all sorts and many are done w Owner hooks..

Owner are my personal favorite but he also has them w Mustad and Gamakatsu hooks. He will wire tie them as well. Lots of modern color schemes as well as the classic colors.

Mike, I’ve looked and I’m not seeing Tom’s feather jigs, are these still available?

Yes, Mike makes great jigs and I have quite a few from him.

But I’m wanting to tie some of my own colors ( I tie my own flies as well) so just looking for the bare painted jig heads.
@F14A-B would you mind sharing your eBay seller?

Yes they do but I’m only looking for bare jig heads as I tie my own creations.

Sieberts has those, too.  Not necessarily intuitive to get to;

Products>Categories>Tackle Making>Swim Jig Heads.  There are a few weedless types there.

I have largely gotten away from weed guards; I really like the Inhaler.  Locked up is good, but I have a conflicted relationship with the fixed screw keepers

My Hair jigs are no longer available.

Tom

I've bought some weedless football heads from Boss that I like.

They also sell weedless swim jig heads.

I would look at Mike’s options for jig heads. They are exceptionally well made and the collar is designed to hand tie skirt material.

Swimbait jig head; no weed guard.  He also has a few types with weed guards.

If you are looking to buy pre painted heads. Mike has about the best prices. Depending on how many ya plan to do. It’s worth it to buy plain lead and some powder paint and a toaster oven. That’s what I do now
