I enjoy the olympics. Who else does?

But I will say that I prefer the summer games rather than the winter ones. US dominates the summer games in the medal count. Not so much in the winter games. Typically it's Canada and the Scandinavian countries.

My favorite winter event is probably speed skating. A close second, men's ice hockey.

Only event I pay attention to is the Biathlon - probably because that's how I hunted rabbit after the snow came when I lived up in Bemidji.

Luge is a favorite as well

It's funny, you see all these athletes in various winter sports in great shape and then you see curling and they look like they flooded the back yard of a pub and trained there ... haha

I’ll watch speed skating, bobsledding and curling if I happen to be in the room.

But when the boss wants to watch figure skating I’m out.

I enjoy both the winter and summer olympics. One summer a bunch of us kids hosted made our own olympics complete with homemade medals. Good times!

Watched a little of the doubles curling the last two days. Pretty interesting.

Only time I watch hockey is during the winter games. Some of the other events are entertaining as well. I agree that the summer games are much better though.

Gotta hand it to Lindsey Vonn who ruptured her ACL just prior to the games and is still planning on competing

I love the olympics. Mostly curling and hockey, I'm a die hard NHL fan. As long as all my Dallas Stars make it home uninjured I will be happy

We are watching the Olympics right now. I really like the ice skating. They re o coordinated yet graceful.

Congrats to Team USA in women’s hockey beating Team Canada for gold. Team Canada is a heck of a team and pretty much was in control of the game.

I like the bobsledding and luge. Maybe a little of the freestyle stuff and long jump too. But every time I turn on the TV, it's ice dancing and downhill skiing. I'd rather watch reruns of Matlock.

I will say that I am not a fan of doing 3 on 3 in OT for an Olympic game that occurs every 4 years in the knock out or medal rounds. Too gimmicky. These games deserve normal 5 on 5 OT until someone scores.

In the preliminary rounds 3 on 3 OT is fine.

Ya, 3 on 3 is a bit strange but it’s better then deciding by shootout, which comes after the 3 on 3.

i agree on the 3v3 and shootouts. Same argument for soccer and partially the same for football when starting at the 25 yard line for possessions (college). The game is the game. For the championship and playoffs I want to see the teams keep playing the game until someone scores. I don't want a skills competition.

I do like them. I have to say though that NBC coverage sucks lots of re-runs and cutting off at odds spots. I have youtube TV and found that I missed being able to watch CBC who always had great coverage of all sports from morning to night. I really enjoy the Biathalon and cross-country very limited on NBC.

They need 2 sets of coverage, 1 for all the ice dancing and another for everything else.
