This would seem sort of mondane by most cheating standards but this guy faces some serious charges. I don't think it's his first time either. When will people figure out you are going to get caught.

He altered a fish by 2.25oz. Is it really worth it? Just stupid.

Let's get him some extra press.

Fishing tournament competitor accused of putting weights in ...

Curtis Lee Daniels, 45, of Willow Park, was released Monday from the Wood County Jail on a $20,000 bond on a charge of violating a fishing tournament law.

Charged with a third-degree felony, Daniels could face up to 10 years in prison and $10,000 in fines.

His friends and family must be so proud.

Good for you, Curtis.

We need to find a wooden ship with lots of barnacles, then keel-haul him several rounds.

It just blows my mind that people think they should cheat to win a bass tournament. Sad. It’s why I don’t fish a lot of tournaments - that and all the fish that die.

It’s disgusting. Something that’s supposed to be fun and amazing ruined by greed. I love tournaments and following them. That said there’s a lot I’m against as well.
