Checking out the Deep Dive App and their satellite views. With the ability to look back 30 days and using other features like stream flows where you can look ahead up to a week, along with the wave impacts, you can dial in your next trip!

The images below are the Straight of Mackinaw. You can see 14 days ago they still had plenty of ice around and the second image was 6 days ago and the ice was gone.

^that bridge is scary

My wife won't look down thru the bridge when we travel across. At the CN tower in Toronto, she wouldn't get close to the edge at the lookout area. lol

I've been over that bridge once....never again....I'll take the long way around, even dealing with Chicago traffic is better that being scared s**tless - and I use to free-climb.

Just drive on the grates so it pulls you back and forth….makes for a fun time and you get your monies worth. 😂

I know that every year they have a walk across that i will never participate in.

I’ve never been, but have seen the bridge. Wondering what makes it a no-go for some? What do you think about driving across the Lake Ponchatrain Causeway? 24 miles of dead straight driving across water with no turnoffs or exits. No land in site either east or west. Causes many people anxiety.

It's a suspension bridge with a 200-foot drop at the highest point, a grated road you can see through, narrow lanes with no divider between you and the oncoming lane, and frequent strong crosswinds.

There is actually a lift service they run for people too afraid to drive across.
