If you are just about to buy your first ever bass fishing jigs you must absolutely give Seibert Outdoors jig a good look

Featured Replies

Just received my order of Seibert Dredge Brush jigs and Megalodon Brush jigs and I must say they are of absolutely superb quality. I bought a few OTC jigs each from four other well known jig manufacturers and there is no comparison between any of them and the Seibert Outdoors jigs.

If like me you are just starting out using bass jigs for the first time especially stand up jigs for bottom dragging for bass I can not recommend strongly enough you give Seibert Outdoors bush jigs a hard look. And very reasonably priced especially for the quality of them.

I second Mikes offerings from Seibert Outdoors. Quality product with loads of options.

Thank you very much for your support and for providing such a great report. It is truly appreciated. We truly appreciate everyone's kindness and support.

I caught my PB largemouth on a Fogy bladed jig, and flippin the Brush Jigs into cover is unparalleled 👍

Your jigs sir as so pretty looking they are like my mint condition JM stamped Marlin 336c 35 Remington lever action rifles featuring such absolutely gorgeous walnut and bluing I don't want to use them for fear of damaging them.

Mike's baits are works of arts and I agree with them almost being so nice you don't want to fish with them.

The Dredge jigs sport a unique hook that pairs up with pork chunks, any chunk for that matter, perfectly. Mike’s products are top tier.

Thanks for the heads up. Just so happens I just bought a bunch of Zoom Super Chunks just for pairing them with my Dredge jigs.

3X on Mike’s quality. The only other jigs I use are BeastCoast compact jigs. They’re ‘smallmouth’ sized, with a shorter hook. If Sieberts happened to make such a jig … hint … hint …. 😏

@CDMTJager

Since you are just starting out with jigs, I hope you stick with it and give them a chance to work for you. They are one of the better big fish baits IME, but like any bottom dragging bait you have to learn what the feel of the bite is and isn't.

Do I like Siebert jigs? Read the posts in the link below. They go all the way back to when his screen name was GMAN.

Mike makes the best jigs I’ve ever thrown.

Caught some giant bass on them.

My favorite jigs he makes are the grass jig - one of the best heavy cover casting jigs ever made and it comes in 3/4, 1 and 1.5 oz 🙂. Those weights are very very important to me but it also comes in 3/8 and 1/2 oz and I use those for my swim jig duties most of the time and also for shallower stuff in dirtier water.

His G2 football jig is an even better “stand up” jig option and navigates rip rap and gravel and walks from side to side along the bottom and is well worth a try.

The sniper finesse jig is another extremely powerful tool when water clears up, pressure is high or they are just eating smaller sunfish and wanting a smaller package. I love the 7/16 oz size and often fish it with a small paddle tail swimbait like a finesse heavy swimming jig to great success.

For skipping - hard to beat the dock rocker - a great all around option for multiple cover options.

Don’t sleep on the “mata” option. The hybrid rubber and silicone skirts have accounted for some huge bags for me!

Mike’s swim jig with his shot caller head is the best swim jig I’ve used.

It comes through pads like you can’t believe. His head design is different from most other jig makers. Highly recommend @Siebert Outdoors products.

Oh and his fogy vibe jigs, they really put out a different vibe than other makes.

Thanks for posting this, CDMTJager. I took a look at those and they look fantastic! After I get settled down in AZ next month, I'll be purchasing as many as I can afford once I have some disposable income. I can't wait to get my hands on some of these jigs.
