Recently scored what I think was an amazing deal on an unused MB Black Jungle - Deep Cranking and Slow Rolling (F5-71XBJ).  Matches up great with my D5 and is an impressive rod, as you'd expect from MB :).  Wasn't really planning on picking up a cranking rod, but some deals are too good to pass up!

I'm not one to pass up a deal, especially when it comes to MB.  Found a never used Megabass Mephisto SB, Destruction, and US Trail F4 Tomahawk. Oh and a Daiwa Ryoga Shrapnel.

I think I know that fella that sold it. PVC tube, black electrical tape on the butt caps, bubble wrap and tape on the rod itself plus taped to the tube to prevent sliding. Yea, that dude is top notch and your outfit looks incredible!

saw that same deal, which was too good to pass on if you wanted a new cranking stick!  and i would agree the combo looks great together!

Well.  After a long search, dumb luck, and simply being at the right place at the right time, I have something very special inbound from Japan...

Easily the most beautiful reel I now own.  Will look even better once it's used and marred up a bit.  Time to start a custom rod build to pair with this beauty.   I hope to have it completed by the spring time.

Megabass Monoblock Racing Viola.  Only 24 lefties and 24 righties ever made.  Sold out instantly.  They're trading hands at crazy prices.  I was fortunate to be at the right place at the right time to buy this for not much more than what they originally sold for.  I've seen them sell in this condition for $4,000 plus.

You definitely lucked out then at that price. A buddy bought one a few months ago for $3,200.

That's about right for the market.  I don't see these going down in value anytime soon.

This came in as well.  Tank of a reel.   Putting a carbon handle on it and a tune from Ian.

A lot of folks are very interested in that Legend Glass rod. Post up your review when you can, please, and make some of them happy.

My new setup. Shimano 15' Met DC along with a St. Croix 6'10" Legend Glass. I haven't had time to try it out yet, probably this weekend.

Very Sweet set up ~

But I have to say you may be disappointed if you present that frog with a glass stick.

Yes, I was just using it for test casting in my backyard :D. It's one of the lures that's less likely to get hung up.
