I fished with Jack only 3-4 times but we talked on the phone numerous times, if we caught a bass 6# or bigger we would call each other from the boat.

Oh man, that really sucks.  I'm sorry to hear it.  Loved talking to him on the forums.  Condolences to the family.  I'm sure theres a perfect lake waiting for him up in heaven.

Yea, there's an awesome body of water up there! :)

Wow, truly a loss for the forum and the fishing community as a whole.

My condolences to his family and friends.

R.I.P., Jack.

I'm very sorry to hear this. He will be missed.

Oh Man!  You know, what a reality check for me, you come on these boards everyday and see the same names posting, but you never think one day they could stop posting.

RIP Jack, and my condolences to all those survive him. Will be missed.

My prayers are with his family. He will be missed. Another reminder that life is fleeting...

Terrible news - he was a great man and full of knowledge. He's still with us through all he has taught us over the years.

I can only echo what others have said.  You knew his posts weren't a pile a junk.  Very informative, and he will be missed on here.  My prayers go out to his family.

What?!? Wow, I don't even know what to say. He was a really great guy, even though I never personally met him, I felt like I knew him. That's so sad, and he will be missed. RIP, Jack.

He always had good stuff worth reading.  I miss him already.  RIP.

It's amazing to me that I have never met the guy in person, only directly conversed with him a couple times on here, but yet I found myself thinking about him quite a bit today.

I am truly saddened to hear of his passing.  He was a class act and a wealth of knowledge.  My prayers go out to his wife and family.
