Title and description say it all. Don't be afraid to say you caught your personal best on live bait. Because for some of us it's true.

My PB LM was 7lbs using a blue gill.

On artificial my PB LM was 5.34lb caught her yesterday on a baby brush hog. On the Secret Lake.

The one I caught this year I knew was my PB, but I have no weight only measurements: 23 1/4" length x 21" girth 1 1/2 weeks after ice out this year on a single spin 1/2 oz homemade spinnerbait.

The other one I caught on Easter Sunday last year had no mesurements or weight and was caught on a home made arky head jig and single tail 3" grub. I have a pic on it. It was laying on a box that was 12" long, so I was able to scale the box and then the fish and it was 20" length, couldn't determine the girth. I guessed at 18" based on how it scaled.

last year 8:30am using a basspro watermelon frog reeling almost as fast as I could right along the outer edge of some lily pads 6lb largemouth. Funny thing is I caught her in the smallest pond that I fish.

my pb that was accurately measured weighed 6 lbs 2 oz. i did have one which was caught when i didn't have a scale that seemed bigger though. My personal best smallmouth weighed 5 lbs 8 oz

Tie at 9lbs; one on a rage craw and the other on a stanley spinnerbait

My PB is 8.6# on a 3/8oz back and blue jig with a berkley chigger craw. It was freezing out like 40 degrees and I had gloves on lol. I didn't even feel it bite, I just felt the weight when I raised my rod tip and set the hook. Last year I caught one I think was bigger but I never weighed it.

My PB was a bedding female that I crept up on while wading and flyfishing a small private lake. It took about an hour to catch it because it was very spooky and bedding in 12" of crystal clear water. I spooked it numerous times and I had to take a knee in the lake for 5 minutes a couple times so the bass would come back to the bed and relax. I was using a series of divers and streamers and I eventually caught it on an short olive Dahlberg diver.

Unfortunately, I was never able to scale it, but my flyrod has measurements marked on it with a Sharpie. It measured 23" and it's gut was about as fat as a 2 liter bottle of soda. I'm guessing on it's weight, but I think it was at least 6.5+ lbs.

LMB - 9.06 - 3/8oz Z-man "Trailerz" chatterbait.

The story is here: 9.06 Bass

I have two fish that are equal in length at 21" but one was skinnier. The fat one scaled right at 6lbs and was caught full of eggs on a 7" power worm in 4ft of water. The other i didn't weigh but i estimated in the low 5lb range. It was caught mid-summer fishing slop with a frog.

Knowing guys who do really well on my lake (2500 acres, max 19ft, wisconsin), i can confidently say that's really good.

Certified is 13-10 for green fish. Caught it on a Castaic hard head. I had another fish from the same lake that went 14-8 but it wasn't a certified scale.

6-12 Certified for a brown fish. Chequamegon Bay of Lake Superior, caught it on a 4" Shad Shape worm dropshot.

11.1 pounds, on a rage tail anaconda. I I have hooked bigger but those bigguns know how to get off.

My PB largemouth is 10lbs 2oz from Lake Commendero Mexico on an 8" Zoom lizard. My biggest largemouth from the states is the one in my avatar that weighed 7lbs 14oz that I caught from a state lake in Kansas on a YUM wooley bug.

I have 2 PB smallmouth bass, both from Milford Lake, KS and both were 5lbs even. One was on a watermelon gold glitter Zoom trick worm on a Pro slider head. The other was on a LC 97mr slender pointer on a really cold, windy day and was one of 2 fish I caught all day.

6lbs 9oz large mouth caught on a 3/8oz yellow jitterbug (the old one). Caught at 8:30PM, back when that was the only thing I could catch fish on.
