Bunch of lowlifes they are.

Why would you buy an Ipad in a McDonalds parking lot?

For some reason this story, and the fact that it took place in a McDonald's parking lot, doesn't surprise me at all.

Let me make sure I got this right...

Two dudes (one with a gold tooth) approach a woman in a McDonalds parking lot and offer her an expensive electronic device for well below retail, the woman counters with an offer of $120 less than they were asking and they sellers accept the offer. None of this strikes this woman as being a little odd?

At this point, any intelligent person is going to assume that the item in question is:

A ) Stolen

B ) Fake

C ) An empty box

The woman was an idiot.

A fool and their money, are soon parted.

Always inspect the merchandise first. That's the first rule of street shopping.

Obviously the woman thought it was stolen and didn't care. She got what she deserved.

If more people sold fake goods like that, maybe it would cut down on the demand for stolen goods.

Do I smell a business venture?

Perhaps it was just a factory defect?

You can get into some serious trouble for buying stolen goods. I'm surprise she was even able to report this and not get in trouble. You cannot buy something off the street like that.

Sure you can, just not if you know it to be stolen property.

Bet it's not covered under AppleCare

Doesn't matter, considering she brought it off the streets like that is extremely shady. I bet she wouldn't have cared if it was stolen or not.She thought she was getting a deal.

You know police department can take it away rather you know if it was stolen or not.I had a friend buy a motor cross bike from a guy only to find out it was stolen and the cops gave him hell for it.He ended up losing the bike and lost $500(what he paid for it) as well. The people he brought it from moved away. They managed to track down a 3 year stolen bike.

Not that you can do anything about this. When I had my scrap chop and yard the locals would burn insulated copper wire in the alleys ( the copper wire was hot in more ways than one), police or fire dept chased the guys away and confiscated the scrap. Next stop my loading dock, it was time for Detroit's finest to add to their own personal retirement accounts.

She needs to meet with the Geniuses.

Wow! An app that turns your iPad into wood??!! Yeah, she got $180 worth of take that stupid!!
