I use braid for one thing only and that's flipping. It sucks on anything else. I use Triple Fish Flourocarbon for my dropshot and senkos and I use Izorline Copoly for everything else.

Just put the end of the line through the eye of the hook and then turn it around and put it back through the eye. This will make your loop.

I use the razor cut. Also if you can find some replacement blades then get them to. It's nice to have them handy when you need them. They can be replaced in just a few minutes. Of coarse I did use the same blades on three different deer once without a problem but I wouldn't recommend it.

There is nothing better than the right mech. broadhead. I have shot them all and the best one I have found is the Grimm Reeper Broadhead. It doesn't have rubber bands or anything and it is a killer. It even works great on angled shots. I have taken about a dozen deer with them sence I found them.

I usually put a fluke on them but a grub sounds like a great idea. You can also do that to a buzzbait.

Make sure you mount it up high in the battery hatch. So it won't get wet if you ever forget to put the plug in the boat.
