  1. If he would say it was in "Sexy Shad" it would be up to $200. :
  2. Lowe is a good addition, but I still don't know if they will be able to compete in the NL East this year. It's hard to keep up when your a small market team. I'll still be rooting for them though.
  3. The post-spawn topwater bite should be in full swing if the weather is right. I like throwing walk-the-dog type bait a bait that moves some water like a Gunfish 95 in the Ghost Sunfish color. Senkos and RC 1.5 cranks are also great during that time of year.

The Buzzjet Jr. became my new favorite lure this past fall. It's an awesome bait.
  5. That's what swimbait rods are for.
  6. Zoom Mutt and Z-Flat. I also like the Sweet P as a finesse crank.
  7. The same thing happens here while I'm fishing. There are no Cottonmouths in this part of the state, but every water snake that swims by someone else fishing is a "poisonous water moccasin". I jsut laugh every time I here something say that.
  8. I need to fish lipless cranks more this year. For now my favorite is the LC LV-100. I'm going to try some Jackall, Ima and Spro this year and see how I like them.
  9. Maybe the Braves could actually compete this year if they assemble something resembling a pitching staff. :
  10. Shimano Curado E5
  11. This might not happen at every body of water, but it does at one in particular I fish at. All of the decent and larger bass in there (4+lbs.) all feed on slab bluegill exclusively as far as I know. They often steal the biggest bluegill we catch right off our UL rigs, or right after we release them. They only seem to go after the biggest ones. It's pretty awesome when you see them go after one.
  12. You can catch fish year round here, but when it really heats up is early-mid March. It could be earlier or later depending on the weather.
  13. I like the Paca chunks as jig trailers, and not many claws come off for me. The Chigger Craw will last for a long time but, the Paca chunk has alot more action! The Paca and Baby last long enough for me,they catch a ton of bass. I just don't like chunk style trailers on jigs. I used to hate jigs when I used chunks like the Paca Chunk and Zoom Chunk, but then I switched to baits with a bigger profile like Flappin' Hogs and Chigger Craws and never looked back. The difference was night and day for me. i think it gives the jig a better fall rate. But on a Texas rig I like the Paca Craws a lot.
  14. x2 Love my Ricos, never tried a G-Splash.
  15. I like the 4" Chiggers as a jig trailer, but if your going to fish a Texas rig more often I would go with the Baby Paca Craws.
  16. I fish for Bass, Catfish, Grass Carp, Bluegill, Crappie, and Trout all on UL gear and it's a blast. Just make sure you have a reel with a nice, smooth drag or you will pop a lot of lines on the bigger fish.
  17. Looks like you've got that one right so far. It seams like at least once every year a team with a first round bye loses all of there momentum. Go Chargers (and down with Eli Manning)
  18. Either a 6'6" or 7'0" MH power fast action.
  19. Fixed it for ya.
  20. After that narrow win versus the Panthers I wouldn't be so sure. Casey makes that kick much more often than not. Go Chargers. Actually, maybe he makes that kick more often not in Carolina, a dome, or some other fair weather stadium....but a 50 yarder in December at Giants stadium on a windy night?..... : Let's just say I wasn't that worried when they lined up to take it. The Giants flat out wore out the Pathers, which is what they'll do to Philly. Don't know why I'm defending the Panthers but... That game was close the entire time, so I don't think you can say that the Giants "wore them out". If they do meet again in the NFC Championship I think we will see a different outcome, even if it is in Giants Stadium on a windy night. : (That's if they get past the Eagles.)
  21. The RCs have a bigger profile and a wider wiggle than the Flat Mini series. The Flat Minis have rattles and come in more colors. They also have different diving depths.
  22. Bomber Bandit Rapala Lucky Craft Zoom WEC I would stick with shallow runners to start out with.
  23. That's the stupidest thing I've ever read. This is a new low, even for them....
  24. After that narrow win versus the Panthers I wouldn't be so sure. Casey makes that kick much more often than not. Go Chargers.
  25. There are much better options out there.
