Does anyone have experience with the rapala flat raps? If so, how did you fish them. They have a very seductive swimming action, the not only wobble side to side, but they have a gentle roll to them as well. I just want to make sure I am not the only thing they catch. ;D ;D

I had a platinum 33 and bought an omega. Not even close, the omega is in a different class completely. Very nice reel, smooth on the cast and retrieve. It is, however, very heavy. The plus side is it should last an eternity.

Pinnacle1, can you explain the braking system mentioned above? It seems to be only in the higher end reels? Is it safe to assume that the easy-dial centrifugal system is magnet free??

I picked up two on here used and love them both. I have no complaints whatsoever regarding either the spinning or baitcasting mojo rods. Never owned a carrot stix so can't offer an opinion.

As much as I like my bag, sometimes picking it up and hoisting it over my shoulders can be a chore. But it's nothing that really bothers me (ex-army I'm used to humping a ton of junk). I'm looking into picking up one of the tackle backpacks that I've seen online. I do a lot of walking, and currently carry 2-5 rods depending on where I am going to fish. I think the backpack may make it easier, but I want to see how they are put together.

Great football game. I would be ok with just watching the game without all the rest of the crap. I thought the who were terrible and not one commercial was catching, imho. Did not Carrie Underwood, but I am willing to cut her some slack. ;D

Congrats to the Saints. They were clearly the better football team tonight. Coached and played to win.

If I had to pick, I think the colts will win. Thought the NFC title game was almost "too big" for the Saints. Not sure how they will fare in Biggest game. I also thought Payton called a very conservative game. That said, the Saints can score on anyone. I really think (and hope) that it is a close, hard-fought game.

Not sure who is gonna win. would like to see a good game. I like both organizations and both quarterbacks. Tough call.
