  1. hard bait or soft? if its a hard bait ill give you what you paid for it! It is built like a large bream. Deep belly and has a replacement body that can be removed and replaced. I bought it off a shelf and never had a box or any replacements. If ya'll can figure out if you want it or not let me know. It has a grey back with silver/grey sides. It is 5 1/4" from o-ring to the tip of the tail. is this it or this The bottom one
  2. I like to fish them wacky style. Just pitch it in a boil after a bass misses a frog and watch what happens.
  3. I went this morning and had 10 nonkeepers(Lake is 16" minimum) and 10 keepers. Best 5 weighted 16.48 Largest was a 4.68, but I had another one at 4.61. Never stuck a large fish. Most were caught on a black buzzbait, 100 Sammy(Am. Shad), and a brown jig with a green pumpkin Gene Larew craw worm trailer. I fished riprap, hydrilla, and points up river. Water temps were 73-84, water stained. TXbass1 called me and pm'd me last night to put me on the pattern and if you read this I never, ever went near the locations you told me. Your patterns were right on and I thank you for the info. He fared better yesterday than I did today. He told me his best five went over 18 lbs. Sunday morning Stowaway tournament was won with over 27 lbs. Saw several people fishing crankbaits and they were catching a lot of fish, just could not tell how large. So if anyone gets the chance to fish it the next several days or week, the bite is on. Put a trailer hook on the buzzbait. Every fish I caught was on the trailer. Not one bite on a frog though.
  4. I hope they help you. The last set I had on my mid back area worked great. At least now I can stand in the bow of a boat most of the day.
  5. Exactly!!!Then throw a light color and try to find it. Good luck

  7. Catt, they will tell you to take it easy for 24 hours. After that you can get after it.
  8. Catt, I have had 9 sets of them over the years. Are they in the neck or back area? You just lay still. If they are in the neck you should be on your back, in the mid back to lower back you should be on your stomach. They will deaden the area and then go in with another LONGER needle watching a scope all the while. If you can see the scope you will be able to watch, unless they knock you out. When they reach the facet area or another area they want to shoot they will inject the medicine. You will not be in pain, and it will take a few days for it to work(If it works at all). I have had a few that did not work at all and some that worked great. Good luck.
  9. You want believe how a 24V motor will pull that rig around. I have one on my Skeeter and don't kick it sideways on high without something to hang on to. It actually caused me to walk over the side last year when I hit a stump. It was 19* too and 7:30 in the morning.
  10. In 1994 I paid 18.75 + tax for a Castiac swimbait that I have never caught a fish on. Have not thrown it in several years. Looks great in the water to me, but I guess the bass hate it.

More times than I care to admit.
  12. Falcon, or Sugar just below the border would give you a great shot. Try coming in February. It is a sight fishing heaven.
  13. I spent less time on the water than any year I can remember. So far I have only fished 12 tournaments. That is a record low for me. Not ONE fish over 10. I have five more tournaments schelduled for this year. Will finish this mess out and plan on getting a big headstart on next. Hopefully my neck issues are behind me and I plan on better things in 2009. I am still leading our club, but have let it tighten up due to missing several tournaments. Got to put some distance on the guys on Fork in October.
  14. Well finally the internet is working fine. Just no dial tone on the home phone. They told me Saturday morning that it was a problem with my cordless system in my home. I'm going to purchase another one this evening and if I still have no dial tone someone will hear about it.
  15. Cowboys will be fine. Ya'll could have the Texans for a home team...
  16. I just hope there is not a let down this week or next. LSU/BAMA will be great if neither stub their toe beforehand. ROLL TIDE!!!
  17. OK, I'm going Tuesday, if anyone wants to go.
  18. Thanks Catt. I am schelduled for my injections Wednesday of this week at 11:15 am. Good luck with yours.

  20. Catt, what shape is the grass in in the Negreet area? What is the water level? Is it on a rise, stable, or falling? Stained or clear? Thanks, Jack
  21. It would help if you listed your location. Different colors work better in different areas, water condition, etc. Not enough info to give you any answers.
