  1. Catt, they learned to avoid me years ago.
  2. 1977 Ranger W/140 Johnson
  3. LMAO, one of the best I've seen in a while.
  4. I think Jacobs owns about 45% of the stock. I bet he has a plan and it won't involve him loosing any of his money.
  5. I know, I'm sick that I can't fish the McDonalds, The Skeeter owners, or any other tournament for the next several weeks. My 83 yr. old mother is having major back surgery next week here in Houston and guess which home she will need to recoup in for a few days. I gotta be here and help her out. D*&n doctors and their schelduling crap, was supposed to be tommorrow but they had to cancel. Threw a kink in all my plans.
  6. I can teach you the Caney, Veach, Black Forrest area. I just cannot do that weekend. Keep me in mind and I will show you what I know at another time. Jack
  7. I see nothing wrong with a Triton or Skeeter. It's market correction doing what it naturally does during times like these. Survival of the fittest. All industries are going through the same thing. Lots of mergers, closings, and acquisitions. It's part of the game of survival.
  8. It's gotta be a fuel issue. Otherwise you would have the problem in other throttle ranges if it was an internal issue. I would start there.
  9. Will do. I need to carry him a few lawn chairs I promised him anyway. Thanks
  10. Looks like Chara to me. I looked it up on another site and the picture is pretty close.
  11. Vertical with a jig, jigging spoon, and plastics of your choice. Jigging spoons are deadly in the winter. Just drop them down the sides of the larger trees.
  12. Don't research the current price. Might make you want to puke.
  13. Check this out. Several years ago the wife and I went out and bought her a new Infinity QX-4. As we are pulling into the driveway in the new ride she looked at my/our bass boat and said... "Don't you think it's time you got a new one?" I rest my case.
  14. I have a few and I am always on the lookout for a few more if the colors are right. Very good crankbaits.
  15. I've got that itch, pick a day this week and I'll be there. Jack
  16. With the lack of this information before my first response, please disregard it. I WOULD HAVE FLIPPED OUT ON THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR, WITHOUT A DOUBT. HIS DAYS OF FAILING TO NOTIFY EVERY MEMBER OF A TIME CHANGE WOULD BE OVER. FOREVER. And after my tirade, if they didnt allow me to weigh my fish, I would have come back home with my entry fee too. X2
  17. Top of the screen is surface clutter. You can dial it down by adjusting the gain. The bottom is shown by either thin dark lines or the lighter wide lines. The hardness of the bottom will determine which line you will see. Your operation manuel will describe the type of line your unit will show for each. You can also get two seperate lines at the bottom. Your manuel will also describe the reason. I cannot give you specifics for your unit. I run Lowrance units and I am not sure your Garmin will show the same. So you can look it up. If you do not have an operation manuel you can go to garmin.com and download one. Good luck.
  18. Maybe we could get 30 hits on this thread before he sees it. That would fire him up.
  19. Where is R.W. when we need him. Please lock this frigging thread up. He must be away. He normally jumps in quickly when this subject pops up.
  20. And that is why you complete your avatar. It continues to amaze me at the number of people that get on this site asking for help and we have no idea where they are located. Go figure.
  21. Great price for a very nice unit. EXCELLENT price if the speed and temp attachments are included. Temp is included, no speed.
  22. I have a Minn-Kota 24v and I change the batteries out every 18 months or so. I'm hard on them, and stand on them relentlessly.
  23. X2, and they guarantee them for at least a year. Just take them back to any store and they will replace them no charge. Keep your recept though.
  24. Quote of the day. Outstanding...LMAO!
  25. No reason to gut a fish before filleting. Just adding an extra step to a process that should take no longer than a minute or two. X2, you never get into the gut sack so there is no reason to do it.
