The weather warmed up and so did the bite! Last trip was cold and windy with mostly smaller fish being the norm and this trip was a big difference with warmer conditions... The fish were eating better and a few bigger fish were getting in on the action! This fish wrapped me in a tree top approx 3 ft below the surface and I was glad when my partner volunteered to grab her for me ; ) SEE WHAT THE RAGE IS ALL ABOUT........... www.ragetail.com

I told my fishing partner that in this particular spot, the first fish was usually photo worthy... So we chuckled when this little guy ate first and I knew you guys and gals would get a kick out of it too ; ) Big O www.ragetail.com

I got lucky on this one She had me right where she needed me, to cause a "terrible cussin' tantrum"... but she gave me an opportunity to right my wrong A tough cross wind caused a big bow in my line and by the time I reeled the bow out to feel, she was already chewin' and I set the hook! Immediately she found some deep brush and all things came to a halt. I tugged and jerked to try to free it quickly because I didn't want her to rip free or break the 25lb fluoro, but it didn't seem to help I sighed a bit and figured she was gone when the line was taught with no movement at the end... then "THERE SHE GOES" on a long deep run completely free from the snag I smiled and said "Thankya Ma'am" then took my slow and easy time with her til she was ready to get in the boat... My good Friends Terry Oldham and Jamie Buitron WON the Bass Champs tournament on Falcon Lake this past wknd with 45.54 lbs... WOW!!! And they caught'em on Oldham jigs with Rage Craw trailers and a few others were caught on cranks! They bested 235 teams... I think that if someone does a little research on Zona as well as others who have been blessed when it comes to fishing, you'll find that they give much of their time in helping others to have great fishing experiences too! Here's some hot new action from Extreme Angler TV where Karl Kalonka catches "Rage Craw Bass in Heavy Cover". Tonight @ 10:30pm and Saturday the 14th @ 6:30am and 2:30pm EST. I'm pretty sure that the Craw he was using on the back of the jig was our new Blue Craw color (below) Zona fishes public waters for most all of his shows and some of them are tough fisheries. He's an excellent angler and Show Host plus in his preview as well as during the show, he mentions being able to fish this private water once a year was a real treat! Filming that type of adventure would be only right, just to show how well a particular body of water can be if it's managed properly... Big O www.ragetail.com

I will use JJ's chartreuse on tips of tails or claws sometime but don't use additional scents per say otherwise. Never hurts though because it can help with hold time in some cases... Big O www.ragetail.com
