Congratulation's!! Thats a great finish being its your first tourney!! One thing though if you do go into fishing more tourney's. Do not let that second place finish go to your head and that all tourneys will finish like that. I have broken in new partners in the past and have had decent finishes on there first tourneys only to want to throw them off the boat into the water on the second tournament because they are frusterated that they havient caught a fish all day. The main thing is just to have fun, catching them or not and gaining as much knowledge from your boaters as possible. Im also assuming you took my advise and stayed away from greasy food the nite before!?! ;D Again congratulations!!

The only thing Iv caught within the last couple week's up here in Upstate New York was a cold ;D!!! I cant seem to find the fish at all!! Iv caught one dink SMB doing what I hate to do sit there and just drag a tube within the last couple weeks. Water temps between 50 and 54 iv been finding good healthy deep weed's been dragging tubes, DS deep structure and throwing everything in my arsenal to no avail. Im winterising my boat this weekend ill be rigging up my tip ups for ice and dusting off the rifels it is time to hunt!! I know a couple weeks after I put the boat in the garage Im gonna be going NUT'S :'(!! If anyone from a warm climate needs a fishing partner for a weekend at all this winter give me a hollar!! haha

My season dosient end!! When everything is iced up I put the boat away and bust out the Ice auger and tipups.

I would contact tracker and see if they have a precut carpet kit for your model of boat or something of that nature. A friend of mine found a kit for his older Stratos everything was precut went on simple and easy.

I have the same problem with the Rapala Jointed shadraps JSR-5 and JSR-7's. But even though they do break at the bill I think they are worth every penny. A while back I contacted Rapala about that and they said to send them in and they would replace them. As soon as I have some time I will be sending them a box full and hopefully I wont have to buy as many next year.

I try not to but I have pulled tubers and ski's with my bass boat I have a 2002 triton tr-186. I have also rigged up a camo system for it and use it during duck and goose season.

Im thinking about getting one you never know when you'll hit something submerged or need to beach when the puddins call and ya gotta break out the TP. Or if you happen to not see one of them crew boats in the middle of the channel, ya wouldn't wanna do any damage to the bottom of your boat if you know what im sayen. No but in all seriousness ill eventually get one installed on my boat I think thay are a great idea.

Simp Seriously I am in the same boat. I was down to my last two and went to buy more for a tournament I had last weekend. I went to two dicks and two wal-marts NOTHIN!! I was so PO'd I went with skitter pops but actually hit up a friend the morning of and borrowed a couple of his. I ended up losing my two remaining chug bug's to a couple monster pike friggen things bit me off!! Im gonna have to order some up I never thought I would have to do it but I need my chug bug fix and two more tourneys to go till the end of my season! And after talking to one of the dudes at wall-marts they are not going to restock Im assuming dicks isn't either being they has really nothing in stock! I wonder if it has anythig to do with the economy.

I refuse to spend more then 10 bones on a lure!!! I think the prices are just totally out of control. Id rather buy what I buy and keep the extra money I have for gas and tournaments. I dont do bad with the cheap baits I win a few here and there.

I have a scale but there was no time!! I knew the feeding fury wouldn't last so I went with a quick pic and got my chug bug back out. We caught a bunch more then it stopped!! Im kicking myself now but what can ya do! ;D
